I noticed the performance drop when the is no fan blow out from this wireless router.

Is getting a bit slow to respond.

The heatsink is big on the top



The problem is how often your router in peak time per day?

Just check the temperature. The heatsink is fine but near the power in area is hot.

Poor inhell, tried just one or two time then gave up

Sold router business to another company maxlinear. Now want try again discrete GPU pulak, A380 not even close as enormous as real airplane kek weaker than 1050ti kek

Well, Intel's wifi cards for PC is still pretty good.

But yeah the AX50 is very toasty

The same reason why broadcom fail to break in wifi adapter segment

Wifi adapter and wifi router/gateway, rf and overall system design is like apple and orange, cannot direct compare

Wifi router gateway, need some network processing and acceleration power, so is slightly more demanding for semiconductor technology


Wifi adapter, more to receive the traffic from the base gateway and transmit, slightly more demanding for RF design
