i don't mean macan, i mean the face of porsche: 911. let me show u the calculation:

median t20 earn 6k a month (t20 household median income is 12k)

brand new porsche 911 is 1.1 million ringgit => car price is 15 years of annual income for a t20!

now compare to uk, new porsche 911 is 93k pound => only 2 years of annual income for a t20. (t20 in uk starts from 3.7k gbp)

in one country you work 15 years, the other you work 2 years only. no wonder i don't see any new 911 on the road these days. and people who drive taycan already flaunting their car on tiktok ig non stop..

You don’t need to count so hard.

Just type in car loan calculator.

Analyse so hard for what.

Umm dont think thats how it works or else u will see porsche everywhere in UK.

But i do agree cars are generally expensive in southeast asia, especially foreign cars due to protectionism and currency strength

911 is too overpowered for most urban areas like Kv and Penang. Dangerous to drive faster than 180 because our roads and drivers are shit. Below 180 Cayman or even Macan will suffice. In the mountain twisties even a Mazda MX-5 will do fine.

I only know:

1. Construction business family with approx. net worth of RM100mil+ who drives a Porsche.
2. Plantation business with approx. RM200mil+, drive BMW and Merc only.
3. Director of a Tech company with RM100mil+ net assets and RM1mil p.a. salary but drive old BMW.
4. B40 colleague who drives his dad's RM150k car to show off.
5. People renting cars to balik kampung.

Tldr; the car you drive does not really have to do with your income. Most wealthy people prefer to be lowkey.

Forever alone household income mcm tu.

Statistically, only 20% are T20, part of household income.

If you are not married, not staying with parents, and forever alone, if you are making 6k, then you are not T20 but merely M40.

But if you are married, your wife is making 8k, you are making 4k, then statistically you are part of T20.

Maybe you can learn about the definition of household income before making comment, else you’ll just look stupid

The cheat code in msia is to do business, pay 1.2k celery and wait your profit

It was interesting that since grab enter these greedy businesses are dying

9 year installment, 2nd hand, plus overdue service. One thing good about UK is you can literally check what fkin year is the car based on the carplate.

Something like LA21 GHE = (LA for london) (21 = otr between mac-aug 2021) (GHE = randomly issued)

using this as basic, you can recog if that setan is actually driving new car while young, or just buying 2nd hand while young.

Cut down MLM sinkarlan by a whole loads here. But again, here in UK no need mlm. crypto crash turn too much to tanah liat tak guna punya orang liao.

Vast majority of Malaysians aren't rich. Official income statistics already show T20 median household is Rm12k. Let me remind you it says MEDIAN. This means to qualify to T10, you need a minimum of RM12k as well.

Then you can look at EPF statistics and see the same thing.

If you don't want to take in government official statistics, we take a look at Bloomberg's. To qualify for T1 (top 1%), you only need a minimum NET WORTH of USD540k (RM2m+ approximately). It only take Rm2m net worth to be T1. I'm gonna make a guess it won't take a lot to be T20.

https://thepropertytimes.my/2021/02/25/mala...ther-countries/

TLDR - Many Malaysians are poor

obviously someone have not been to london. Hahaha the way u compare after conversion is just mind blowing. Yr talking as if all T20 in London could easily afford a porsche.

Those making GBP 50k and above per annum will only worry about tax + housing. LOL only those who are bringing home > GBP 100k would even dare consider there.

T20 only means one thing, which is less subsidy by gomen. It's not about you being rich or not. Most T20 cannot afford the car because they can't pay it with 6 months salary.

Many malehsian lifestyle is sustained by debts. For reasons, why household debts is among the highest in Asia.

I have a story about being rich only makes life harder.
His father's business around 500mil ish.
So in his house the spare cars are an BMW X6, c200 and lambo gallaro** or something, this was way back in 2011 ish.

So the mom uses the c200 cause X6 too big and lambo for obvious reason.
So this fresh grad didn't want started work at a company(not his father company) and had to drive an x6 to work.
In the end to cover his status, he had to park almost 700metres away everyday for 1.5 years so that his car won't be more expensive than the manager + senior manager

TS must be those who only buy cars because can afford the monthly instalments but failed to include maintenance.

The more expensive the car, the higher the maintenance. If u never bother to add those up when calculating the monthly instalments, it will bite u in the ass after 6 months.

The right way is the get the total cost of the car + yearly maintenance + road tax + insurance & divided by how many years u plan to keep it.

Example.

Car: RM 165K
Yearly maintenance: RM 5K
Road tax: RM 400
Insurance: RM 2K
Tires: RM 2K

Say u plan to keep the car for 7 years and just add up to become RM 159400 (loan RM 150K). Divide this amount by 84 months and u get RM 1867 monthly. This does not include the loan interest rate. With a 3% per annum, the monthly comes to RM 2272 plus the maintenance.

Car dealers will advertise the car as RM 1785 monthly without the interest rate or RM 2160 monthly with 3% per annum interest.

Of course, some parts will go up in price over time but since u already have a budget, it would be a lot easier to calculate. Some items such as tire only change every 2-3 years or insurance which gets cheaper yearly due to NCD.

By not bothering about the discounts, u will have a surplus which can be use for emergencies.

i don't mean macan, i mean the face of porsche: 911. let me show u the calculation:

median t20 earn 6k a month (t20 household median income is 12k)

brand new porsche 911 is 1.1 million ringgit => car price is 15 years of annual income for a t20!

now compare to uk, new porsche 911 is 93k pound => only 2 years of annual income for a t20. (t20 in uk starts from 3.7k gbp)

in one country you work 15 years, the other you work 2 years only. no wonder i don't see any new 911 on the road these days. and people who drive taycan already flaunting their car on tiktok ig non stop..

Car is supposed to be a necessity and affordable. Due to protecting potong and ap holders, is heavily taxed. Hence, malehsian disposable income is low.

People that thinks this chart "cannot be true" and thinks that a lot of cars on the road laa a lot of people dining out laa this and that .

Do you realize that our working population is 16 million strong ? T20 in this sense over 3.2MILLION PEOPLE . If you dine out in publika or malls and places like that , of course most of them comes from this 3.2 million la .

One ktard lagi funny said that tHis SoMehoW cAnnoT be true . Hello ? It simply means that your social circle all falls in the 3.2million category la . Just because all your friends are from this category doesn't mean the poor doesn't exist . Just means that you are oblivious to them and you aren't looking close enough . Malaysians are poor AF and saddled with debt.

Comparison must use common currency / cpi index. Car just slightly cheaper because insurance expensive add to the cost. Repairs also expensive billed hourly labor. Overall Malaysia still too cheap. Slightly cheaper car doesnt mean UK overall better.

U bodo?
Dunno how to read?
