I believe all of us normal people will have internet with private IP behind our ISP's NAT. Does that mean we cant seed our own torrents?

To my knowledge, port forwarding is only possible if your WAN IP matches your public facing IP. Which in my case, its not.

My use case is actually to just use it to share a tons of files to my friend. I am just looking for alternative other than just zipping it and upload it somewhere

torrent is a file sharing format
it is not illegal per say, unless you share something illegal with the torrent
sharing musics, books, files that u legally own is okay, in any format/form of online sharing platform

i think torrent is ok...it's just the content being shared remains questionable.
