my last monitor is LG ultrawide 29UM59A (flat not curved) monitor bought for RM799 in 2018 but i sold everything, so im building new rig.
im happy with my last monitor, so im looking something similar or better.

im building new rig only for lightly gaming, movies and browsing. everything in one equally.

budget around RM1200, considering to topup more if worth it, or saving without much loss in quality that would be great too.
im looking something at least 29", bigger is better
sometime i watch movie while lying on my bed, so i need wide viewing angle.
i never use 144mhz or higher monitor, is it worth it?
i never use curved monitor, whats your experiance with it?
should i ditch ultrawide and back to 16:9 monitor?

some monitor I found on shopee
ViewSonic VA2932-MHD 29" RM799, very similar to my last monitor, nothing specia;
LG 34WP500 - 34" RM1198, HDR and 5inch bigger, is it worth extra RM400?
PRISM+ X300 30" RM1199, 200Mhz, worth it? curved is it good?

Your budget the best is getting that LG 34WP500, for movie wise is OK but you may find less sharp in text due to it is not a 1440p resolution where 3440x1440 is the best for 34" but it will all out from your budget.

Another two brand I will not recommended.

34" Ultrawide I prefer Curve. Curve or not is user preferable, this is better you look for yourself in shop. I said nice not means you prefer.
