Your budget the best is getting that LG 34WP500, for movie wise is OK but you may find less sharp in text due to it is not a 1440p resolution where 3440x1440 is the best for 34" but it will all out from your budget.

Another two brand I will not recommended.

34" Ultrawide I prefer Curve. Curve or not is user preferable, this is better you look for yourself in shop. I said nice not means you prefer.

But that LG model is only 250cd (Typ.) brightness and only 16.7M colors, both is not even meet the minimum HDR 400 requirement. (HDR 600 is recommended)

Please don't put high hope on HDR as it will eventually looking worst and dull than SDR.

Your budget a bit low, so I can't even recommended you 34" 3440x1440 as 34" or 27" is actually better with 1440p resolution.

The ViewSonic VA2932 is 29" which is 24" for Wide monitor. This size is actually better for 1080p but ViewSonic give me twice disappointment, I don't recommended this brand.

As for PRIMS+ I never use but from internet user comment, this brand is not last longer, better avoid.

This Ultrawide is 1080p+, so everything look kind of big and less working space. 34" is equal to 27" widescreen, which means it is not that sharp for 1080p. It is also only 75hz which no very smooth experience. If you ok within this two then for that price, I think it is good to go.

Because most people find 1080p look less sharp for screen size 27" and above. I am also ok previously. But once I use 1440p for 27" and now I no longer like 1080p in 27". 1080p is best resolution for 24/25" and below.

The Hz is not only gaming related, it is also obvious on Windows smooth animation, same as mobile phone where most people can notice the smoothness of 90hz and above vs 60hz. It is very obvious especially on Windows 11 Start Menu animation part. Off course this is also same before you use better you won't notice the difference, once you use 120hz and above screen, most people will no longer can return back to 60hz.

For gaming wise, if the games you play reach more than 75fps, you will need to cap the fps, else tearing will appear as G-Sync/freesync is support up to the maximum screen hz you have, this is the reason higher hz is better. Using vsync to control its not recommended as this impact high latency to the games which make input lag to games.

Shop mostly only have 29" demo set which is equivalent to 24" monitor.

In general.

- 49" (32:9), 34" (21:9) and 27" (16.9) same height.
- 43" (32:9), 29" (21:9) and 24" (16:9) same height

Due to the resolution is 1080p+, the productivity working space is not very big compare with 1440p+. Also the HDR will be very bad due to the spec completely not meet the requirement. You probably also don't care on this two either.
