I have booked the Corolla cross back in March 2022 and I’m still waiting for allocation. After seeing a few preliminary reviews on YouTube especially those coming from Thailand, I’m beginning to lean towards HRV e-Hev.. (FYI I’m currently driving the previous gen HRV back in 2015 when it first launch)

Can anyone here enlighten me the difference with Honda E-Hev (since it was first introduced in the new Honda city RS last year) as to compared to Toyota’s 4th gen hybrid ? Appreciate it in advance .

Well, if your looking into hybrid system like Honda mostly only knew as powerful but not very reliable & cost effective for long term use if compared to Toyota Hybrid system.

Until today Toyota hybrid system still remain the best from Japan, even for aftermarket hybrid parts also easier & cheaper to get & fix compare to Honda.

its using same platform as old HRV.

it is has less bootspace than old HRV.

either interior getting bigger, or the space miraculously gone missing.

Yes. Not much changes in term of chassis.
If not mistaken it is similar with the new & old City/Jazz under B-Segment, also knew as Honda Global Small Car Platform since last generation.

Doesn’t really make sense tho
Same price range with civic FE

Well, most raw material cost already went up at least 30% or even more over the past year, with weak currency everything make it worse.
Most newer model coming in later this year for sure will price up higher, just how much to decide.
