This honda dashcam is direct install from factory Honda or install at honda SC?
BTW, after they install dashcam, when tinted they need to take off again ar?
*
Installed at SC. Yes if u send it for tinting, they will have to remove it from the windscreen / rear screen.

Is standard model worrh it? 1.5 under power?
*
Based on the feedbacks i read from 1.5S owners, seems like the power is adequate. But underpower or not is really subjective and depends on individuals. If possible, try find a showroom with a 1.5S test drive unit available to test yourself.

Did you get both front and rear? If got rear, can I ask how your SC install the rear cam with the wiring? Did the installer route the wire through the rear hatch wiring tube, or just route through the rear headliner?
*
Yes both front and rear. Not sure about the wire routing as the car came with tint and installed with dashcam already during collection.

I see. I went with the Honda official Dashcam thinking they will hide the wiring through the rear hatch wire tube, but instead the guy just route through the headliner and the wire is protruding out from the rubber seal and running exposed to the rear cam, destroying my OCD in the process.

I asked the guy and he said it’s not doable. I also malas to deal with him d, now finding a third party shop to redo the wiring. Any suggestions?

I dont see mine protruding out from the rubber seal. Checked seems like wire all hidden though.

Just went over for the first 1k km service. They quote the estimation cost for next 10k km service is around RM500+-. Is this true?

Based on the maintenance booklet roughly including engine oil and oil filter replacement its only around RM300+- max. So I was wondering where the surcharges  coming from?

¹The staff was not willing to entertain my follow up question on this saying "You can get a quotation first on the next service, pologies but i had to attend for next customer immediately"

²This is my first Honda, I had an issue with my front passanger side power window, it creates this whizzing sound when operate. During first service they said they only entertain service appointment and critical repairs during weekends, for other matter like power windows need to reschedule different appointment on weekdays (Monday-Thursday). Is this standard accross all Honda SC?
*
I think the service rendered really depends on the dealer you are going to. Some service centre have great Service Advisors to explain and address questions from customers nicely. Normally the estimation of RM500+ probably includes lots of optional items included by the SA. You may exclude those optional items.

For car issues, the dealers i normally go, would still entertain appointments to fix issues for saturday. But sunday usually only for normal service only due to shorter operating hours.

Hi all, nak tumpang tered.

I getting my HRV around December, thinking of getting modulo bodykit (side skirt/ front & back lip) but Honda charging 3.8k for it.

Was browsing lazada/shopee and saw few workshops selling the bodykits for only RM1k for installation at their workshop.

Anyone tried outside workshop for bodykits? How's the quality? Or shd i fork up extra and get honda ori parts
*
You booked S spec? Because Honda's Modulo is only available for S spec. Other specs have no bodykit unless u going for aftermarket ones

I booked V variant...weird that they only allow S variant to have bodykit. doh.gif

Will aftermarket bodykit affect warranty? Anyone have any nice car accessories shops to recomment?
*
Havent installed one myself. YOu can look thru those HRV 2022 FB groups, many sellers promoting their shops there.

Is there a release button or lock mechanism for the magic seat? One of my seat folded flat and can’t fold back up. Like it’s stuck 😅, the other side is working fine. Can lift up without any problems
*
There's a locking mechanism if u lift it up to ensure the seats are locked upwards. Not sure about folding flat though

So I decided to get TPMS during sale. After installation I found out my tyre pressure was at 42 psi each. 🤨

I clearly remember after I brought out from showroom I straight away check the tyre pressure and ensure its at recommended level which is 30-32 psi. So I thought the sensors got issue.

Just to confirm, this morning went to pump station for a check and guess what, it really is at 42psi each. Now the only time I guess my tyre got pumped up is when I went for 1k service.

Now does SC simply max out the pressure or the recommended pressure at the side of the door cant pakai one?

For now I made sure the pressure is around 30-34 atleast its not too far off from the recommended pressure.
*
Yeap happened to me too. After 1st 1k service, they pumped the tyre pressure damn high. No idea why they do that when its clearly above the recommended pressure.
