wlcling, I did saw one at The Curve, the shop name is SBC. I remember seeing it, costs a few hundred bucks.

If I go there, I'll help you check it out.

I don't recall it looking like the one you posted but heck, I'll check it out when I'm around there.

Thanks goldfries. I also managed to find a few at Sim Lim (singapore), but wondering if those China ones are good plus they already cost above $150-300.... they come in all shapes and sizes, but most importantly i'm concerned with the quality of the screens & the life expectancy of the product

Thanks for the heads-up! Been thinking about the Philips ones, but from the US prices seem expensive.... Davis has it from 899 for the 7" to 1199 for the 9"

seems pretty expensive, but since i'm relatively ignorant about which digital photo frames are good, wondering whats the best brand/buy out there... biggrin.gif

MAy not be practical. Few hundred RM's for screen in a frame .... if let it run and switched on, wonder how long it takes before it burns out. It's LCD tech rite?

the Philips one is rated at 20,000 hours which you can also use the auto-on and off to shut the display at night...about 4 years of use

also said that it is able to display the same photo for 1000 hours without any damage to the display

China brand however, cannot comment... haha

the difference between branded Digital Photo Frames(Philips) and the generic brands (HUM,Victory, etc.) is easily visible.

few advantages I know about Philips DPF because I have one tongue.gif
1. Larger Resolution sizes as compared to other brands- better picture displays
2. Temporary Internal Battery Packs - allowing viewing for 48 minutes - 60 minutes. (Most DPF needs to be connected to a power supply for opreation)
3. Internal Memory Storage - you could copy pictures from viewing other photographer's SD/MS/CF Memory Card into the DPF if you do not have an OTG harddisk.
4. Programmable On/Off time if you leave it in your office table.
5. Changeable Frames x 4

but its definitely expensive smile.gif.
