• Edit a message for up to 15 minutes after sending it and recipients see a record of edits
• Undo send allows you to recall any message for up to 2 minutes after sending it
• Mark as unread makes it easy to come back to a conversation later
• SharePlay in Messages lets you enjoy activities like watching movies, listening to music, playing games, and more with friends while messaging
• Collaboration provides a simple way to invite others to collaborate on a file via Messages and get activity updates in the thread when someone makes an edit to a shared project

Mail

• Improved search delivers more accurate, complete results and provide suggestions as soon as you begin to type
• Undo send allows you to cancel delivery of a message within 10 seconds of hitting send
• Scheduled send for sending an email at a specific day and time
• Follow‑up surfaces sent emails that have not been replied to, to the top of your inbox so you can quickly follow‑up
• Remind me lets you schedule a date and time to be reminded about an email

Safari and Passkeys

• Shared Tab Groups let you share a set of tabs with others and see the Tab Group update instantly as you work together
• Tab Group start pages can be customized with different background images and favorites for each Tab Group
• Pinned tabs in Tab Groups enable you to pin frequently visited websites for each Tab Group
• Safari web page translation adds translation for web pages in Turkish, Thai, Vietnamese, Polish, Indonesian, and Dutch

Family Sharing

• Improved child account setup makes it easier to create an account for a child with the right parental controls, including age‑appropriate media restrictions
• Device setup for a child lets you use Quick Start to easily set up a new iOS or iPadOS device for your child with your selected parental controls in place
• Screen Time requests in Messages make it even easier to approve or decline requests from your child

Safety Check

You can see the screen message was a mix between date and "Swipe up to unlock". we chanced upon a chance to screen captured that it happened when it happened.

everytime you update the OS, re-indexing will need to run to its completion, which can take some time and will cause the battery to drain faster than you are used to. it will pass.

2G and 3G network are analog.
4G-LTE are fully digital packet network.

In order for voice call to be handled by digital network, the sound (naturally its analog) have to be converted into digital equivalent to be carried over LTE network. Thus, Voice-over-LTE. If either or both your phone and telco does not support VoLTE, then your phone is required to step down back to using either 2G or 3G everytime your phone need to handle voice calls.

Voice-over-Wifi is the equivalent. But using the wifi you are connected to instead of using telco tower.
it's a good alternative for those with patchy tower signal.

your telco phone number and charges is still the same.

incorrect. as already stated, you are still liable to charges incurred by the phone call.

So look at your rateplan: if they charge you for making a call, then the same will still apply. Whether it through 2G, 3G, VoLTE, or VoWifi is irrelevant as far as metering and charging goes.

look, ignore whether you are using 2G, 3G, VoLTE, or VoWifi.
look at your rateplan; what types of calls are charged and what types are not.
if your rateplan says a call chargeable, then it is chargeable, regardless whether you are using tower or wifi. if your rateplan says it's already covered for, then it is already covered for, regardless you are using tower or wifi.

lets use example from Digi.
also note that Digi put additional condition: if you are NOT using cellular network i.e. use VoWifi, it will NOT use CELLULAR minutes bundled in roaming plan i.e. you will be charged PAYU rate.

That's condition set by Digi. I also learnt when I found that page.
Not necessarily same treatment by other telco, so each will have to check with own telco.

I agree that long after applying the current 16.0.3, the iP13PM's battery do feel like draining faster than how it used to before.

not pnly that. when i drag up to see - nothing.
later when i drag up - notifcations all the way to 1 week old also there.

i still don't get the mechanism of when it hides notification, of when it actually shows, and why it's behaving like hide-and-seek when i drag it up at different times.
