Hi all, wanna ask that if I am using router/modem with sim card, the data is consider as hotspot?
Because i saw some data plan mentioned Data Plan like 10GB and 1GB hotspot, so does it means limited hotspot with 1GB?

I need to use the sim router/modem with my laptop for working purpose.

THank you.
Meaning if the data plan said 1GB hotspot does it mean it is limited 1GB for hotspot connection?
So in this case, i connect with my laptop only can get 1GB data limit for internet?

You can get modified modem dongle / router to bypass the hotspot limit, check on shopee.

Yup..only 1 GB hot spot

I would suggest Yoodo (can set your own plan), unifi mobile or unifi air

Or any telco that offers unlimited hotspot

Are you saying they give you a wireless router without contract for RM98 a month? Complete solution? My cousin coming back to M'sia for 2 weeks, need internet for the place they are staying next month. What happens to the router when I want to terminate? It doesn't state on their website.

You suppose to send it back.

Yes, unlimited is only on Digi or Maxis network.
Celcom has a 75GB limit (I think).

I am also using it, till Oct, then will return it when I move.... so yes, I am also planning to return it later.
They tell me, just send it back....... no deposit.... so jalan only.... smile.gif

You try Digi or Maxis in your area first... need to test peak hour, like 8-10pm... when everybody is home.....

My location, when nobody is around, I have seen 75M.... but on most days 8-20M la.....
