Gizmo Gamers Cyber Cafe (formerly known as Ultimate Cyber Cafe) at Jln Song will be organizing Dota 6.43b Amatuer Tounament on 27th-28th October 07.

Entrance is free!!!!

This tournament is for amatuer. The term amatuer means those who have never won any local/international tournaments for the past 3 years.

Our purpose is to bring up more n more pro gamers in Kuching, hope that those who have won dun be upset. Coz we are helping all the clans in kuching looking for new challengers...... and make our gaming community GROW!!!

can some1 plz link to me the pages (*sites) for the replays and results of this competition. thank you. i just wanna know who won. DotCom's team won?

Replays and results will be officially out on Saturday.

As of now.. the final game hasn't been played. Scheduled for Friday night (2/11/07), in conjunction with Gizmo Gamer's official opening.

Team DotCom got 3rd place.

Final game will be between [aOe] from SL Cyber Cafe and GG Junior from Gizmo Gamers. Those staying in Kuching, please do make it a point to spectate the final.

Bonus match on Friday. Winner of the Amateur Tournament will face up against Sarawak Cyber Games champions, Clan Fallen.GG. Winner of this bonus match will receive RM200 extra.


All games will be projected live on 2 LCD monitors installed as spectators are not allowed to be in the tournament zone. ( One @ Gizmo Gamers entrance, another @ the coffeeshop beside Gizmo Gamers)

Congratz to SL for making it into the finals! XD once played with them, dame owning oh them. XD may i know wad time is the final?

The Final match expected to start on 1930 this friday.

Great game played by AoE. not lettin me down. congratz to AoE for winning the Kuching Amateur Dota Tournament. Great game, exciting. yet good tactics showed by GG nontheless. Too bad there's no sound. why didn't the host fix that speaker in the 1st place? i didn't even notice the Godlike until Holyshit.

May i ask why is there a Razer sticker near the entrance of Gizmo? coz i didn't see any Razer mouse used in GG. Please enlighten me. Thank you!

It would be a good news for the cs players if there's really an implementation on Razer mouse in GG, though not really useful in tournament, as i believe all most players in kuching already have the habit of using their own ub3r mouse during competition. XD

according to the razer sticker on the mirror is becoz we are trying to let ppl know that they can find razer product here. we dont keep stock, but we can help u order. we are dealing through kuching's razer products dealer not LYN. So anything happen can claim from us.

i know some ppl can get it in LYN, but for those other ppl who dun search forum they dunno where to get it mar.

Price might slightly expensive than LYN seller, but we sell cheaper than kuching other shop. our mission is to expand the E-sport industry in kuching.

p/s: the sticker i take it from my razer mouse and stick it there. if harap the dealer such wait till next year.

p/s: Fallen won right? i was abit late at the 2nd match, so dunno who is who.

if i'm not mistaken, UPT cable port and the audio is valy differ wo. XD last i remember, u guys also did a funny move, tat is lettin the referee cpu bengkok during the saturday match last week. i saw the referee put his leg around the cpu at the 1st round of the dota competition, and was thinking he really not afraid his leg got soot. XD

nice move, and it was a great match. keep it up, and tell kelvin to host more of this. jln song is a great place to host. u can see tonite there's alot of audiences. even bypassers also stop by to see. its like watching a football match, but more intense.

and when referee B dc, it was a cool shot too! dc at a good time. zeus spamming skill on nevermore (*i think), nice scene.

and thanx to gizmo, the 2nd match had speakers! for us spectators!!!

Hey, i bet that aoe use omni, wats the line upfor GG and aoe? My team got beaten by them in the first round. gratz

Since most of you posted the results already, I dont have to post a match report anymore. Thanks y'all!

On behalf of Gizmo Gamers, we would like to thank every single one of you who turned up to spectate the Dota finals on Friday night. Estimated crowd >100, excluding on-looking passers-by was simply amazing! You guys rock!!! My favourite crowd moment was when all of you cheered when POTM stun arrowed the escaping Sand King from quite a distance. It was like Arsenal scoring a beautiful goal (just an example since i'm an Arsenal fan..HAHA)

On the other hand, we would also like to apologize for any errors made during our tournament setup (eg. audio, and cos of audio causing Referee B to disconnect.) Thousand apologies. We promise we will make it up to you next time round.

To conclude, in order to bring Kuching's gaming community towards greater heights, we need YOUR support. It has been a good start already . In return, we'll come up with more and more gaming events (god willing).

yes, it was really a great time. it really felt like a great football match. XD POTM also once almost double shot (*yi jian shuang diao) on the stun arrow.

p/s: AoE lost to Fallen right? i wasn't sure of the result for teh extra match. also, please link to me replays, i wanna check sth.

AoE lineup : lion and omni (*top), POTM (*mid) , Nevermore and Sven (*bot)

GG lineup : sandking & lina (*top), viper (*mid), zeus & ... forget, at bot.

and i remember ah pui was screaming "SI! SI! SI!" ROFL!!!~
