Wow, this show must be REALLY unpopular or something, it's like you can't find anywhere to talk about it! ADB: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=518I haven't finished the series myself (only up to episode 7), but seriously, I find it very good so far. It's more of a romance or character driven story with a little spice of mecha. If you get into the characters, it should be pretty interesting, one of the episode got me pretty sad as well >_<. So anyway, I definitely recommend it and have a go, it's probably not everyone's cup of tea, but it might be good to get a break from loli shows. PS: Love the character design. Hmm the show is not bad.. cool mecha and an okay story. Its kinda your generic love comedy with mecha.
the 1st half focus alot on action which it was demoted to mere love comedy and the 2nd half.
Overall this anime isnt really that great but it worth a few laugh.

I liked it for being a romance comedy cum slice of life.....but nothing great. Love the OP and ED. Based on the unique strategy game cum dating sim with the same name.....Gunparade March the anime focused more on the "dating" part i suppose. I would've preferred if they had more of the mecha action and how they carried out missions together. Too bad one of their members died and seemingly next episode everyone forgotten about her. Sadly the sequel anime Gunparade Ochestra didn't do too well either. The mecha was fugly and even fansubs have abandoned subbing it so I never knew the ending. More or less same formula though. Slice of life with limited mecha action. 2nd half of the anime was about Raiden ....animal-like mounts that can fight the smaller phantom beasts, with their riders.

It's done by Kawai Kenji (FSN, Higurashi etc).
I duno, I never expect much mecha from it, and I am not too big fan of mecha so I was more looking into the character development and all. But I have to agree if your looking for mecha action, this isn't something you'd want.
I guess it's just me, I am enjoying it a whole lot now. Shibamura is funny to watch, how she gets developed and stuff. I don't know why people would think that it's a comedy series though, most of the time it gets more emotional and serious than being funny. FMP is more of a comedy/mecha series imo.

Just finished it. Thoroughly enjoy the romance development between the two. There's really not much of a story in it actually, Genjuu is never explained and stuff, but it's ok, I am more interested in the characters anyway ^^ Sad it's only 12 series. Shibamura ftw~ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Last confess scene is indeed a bit cheesy, but I like it, he did confess after all.
