Now I wonder if some cars that are stuck at the toll due to insufficient balance, actually not even their fault. Ewallet still go money, but toll die2 wanna deduct from card...

I've noticed several times in the past few weeks that the Sunway toll (between Puchong and Sunway) deducts my card balance, although my ewallet still got more than enough money. Happened again today. Ewallet still got money. This happen to anybody else? Nasib I always keep some balance in my card.

QUOTE(killerjeya @ Jun 1 2022, 09:27 PM) Not sure how they configured their systemQUOTE Why Touch n Go not deduct from eWallet? No, because the balance in the Touch ‘n Go card and the eWallet are separate and not interchangeable. Toll fare deductions can only be done from one source of the fund at a time and thus, you will not be able to pass through the toll. You would either need to reload your Touch ‘n Go eWallet or card. https://faqstrend.com/can-touch-n-go-ewallet-use-for-lrt/ Means it either choose ur card or ewallet. QUOTE(bananajoe @ Jun 1 2022, 09:38 PM) While the article was about LRT, they also explain the mechanism behind ewallet and TnG. For tolls with Paydirect enabled, it should always deduct from the ewallet balance first. If your ewallet balance is insufficient, it will then deduct your card balance. They even explain about RFID. I am just curious how they implemented this particular setup for this toll. ![]() At least, that is how it should be. I've been using paydirect with no issues at all for years now. I have no idea what they did at this toll that is causing this problem now. |
