Does anyone here have any idea when is the Q9450 going to be available at LowYat?
By the way, has anyone used Asus P5E mainboard before? Any comments?

QUOTE(Core_Trace(R) @ Apr 3 2008, 05:50 PM) so,q9450 is not worth buying compare to q6600? I am not too sure whether it is worth buying, but I want one and it is not available in Malaysia...what's wrong??

It's really an heartache waiting for the mainstream quads like Q9450. I have had my budget ready for so long and they are no where to be seen. I want my Quads and I hope Intel hears that .

I saw q9450 listed on Sri Computers' price list. Is that true that they have it?

I heard from a shop from LYP that there will not be any Q9450 in Malaysia, but only X3350. Is that true?
Anyone heard the samething?

I see that Q9450 appears in the pricelist of a few shops in LYP, but it does not seem that anyone of them really have them in hand or are they keeping it?

I have been waiting for Q9450 since late last year too. I wonder when it is going to be launched in Malaysia.

That is great news and great price as well. I thought q9450 will be more than 1200 when it is launched due to limited stock. But I will still wait for the P45 before getting one .

I read some previews that P45 is not that bad and is comparable to X48 (not really sure how true it is).

Beside All IT and ThunderMatch, did anyone find any other shop that has Q9450 in stock and what is the price like?

Q9450 is out at Lowyat (a few stores) and did anyone manage to test it out? I wonder how it performed?

QUOTE(newmel @ Jun 9 2008, 02:48 AM) i assume your Qx is one of the earlier batches ie- L39A/B or the earlier 40s. those have a known problem with stuck DTS'. unfortunately Intel's RMA doesn't cover those. there isn't anything really wrong with your 2nd core. simply a stuck sensor. i know its irritating. i have 2 "stuck sensors" that are always fixed 10C lower than the other 2. same thing with my ES. seems that most Qx9650s have this problem. guess some of us aren't so lucky Wah, nice temp. Just bought the q9450 but a bit disappointed with the core temp. At idle (during hot days), the temp is as follow: Core 0 = 57C Core 1 = 57C Core 2 = 45C Core 3 = 45C At max load (Prime95), the temp: Core 0 = 65C Core 1 = 65C Core 2 = 59C Core 3 = 59C The temp of the first 2 cores are always higher than the last 2. Sigh
