Anyways the results of my last tweaking of algorithms and crunching the latest datasets points to the doldrums once again, with one set of numbers being the exception; low low chance of 13%.

Feel like I may have better chances by borrowing my neighbor's cat to pick out numbers 0-9 from a bag, or just not bother to buy for this weekend's draws. LOL!

but seriously, if yr number is 1234, and u PAO it, then any of the 24 permutations if drawn will win u a bit of dosh. each lottery has it's own name for that mode of play (eg ibox, i-perm). I believe the common term of PAO comes from hokkien (pao ka liau, pao sua pao hai).

It's called number grouping analysis, and is often used by punters in 6-number lotto type games. In your example scenario, you chose the group of 2000-2999 range. If you wish to delve a little further into this,

The "advanced" strategies mentioned on that site can be easily adapted for straight 4D games. Keeping in mind the law of large numbers and certain aspects of system dynamics, one can attempt to avoid the state of maximum entropy by developing complementary algorithms with inbuilt dynamic bias in the form of weights assigned to certain specific numbers/clusters of numbers.

But don't let all those fancy words boggle you. Just have fun! As I stated last week, this is a current state of doldrums (max entropy) so I didn't bother wasting any money on tickets, and can consider borrowing my neighbor's cat to select 4D numbers
