Hi BikerBase,

I've been surveying the market for motorcycles and I've narrowed it down to this two la. Honda Wave 125i and Lagenda 115z.

I want practicality. The only thing stopping me from getting the Honda Wave 125i is the common vibration issue that might disturb my stability when overtaking a lorry (I know, KPP01 say not to try to endanger yourself by overtaking but let it pass but sometimes this may not be realistic). I love everything else about the Honda Wave 125i like extra storage capacity, bigger fuel tank and I even love the design over the Lagenda's. I tak paham the burung hantu design of Lagenda. Lampu dia LED ke? Wave macam lagi klasik. Lagenda is another very practical bike and speed mcm lebih kurang with Wave and the handling is superb and safe (cuma takde rear brake discs like wave). But it's lagi panas than Wave so tak tenang tido.

Can someone explain to me the vibration issue? Is it a major issue for you? Is vibration issue with two brake discs > Good handling with only front brake disc or vice versa?

Sorry I've been spamming this sub. Really want to make a good decision.

Wave 125 Be ready to tighten screw every few month. Fairing, signal light break after long used. This motor bike not for full throttle. Ride 60 to 70 ok la.

Can this bike go long distance? Like Kedah to KL?

Bro, you better test sitting on that wave 125i first before you buy because it has different body cutting. Wave 125i is a little bit 'gemuk' for a standard kapcai & the seat is quite large which can be a good thing or the opposite, depend on personal preference. I personally dislike the seat because my but keeps on sliding forward when I had the chance to test ride a future fi several years back. The overall handling has slightly different feeling because of its 'gemuk' body & large seat. Please consider this factor first because you might end up not liking the handling & sitting position on this bike. So, be sure to get a test ride first if possible to avoid disappointment later.

About the vibration issue, its a long story to tell...  sweat.gif  Long story short, the vibration does exist & you need to adapt to it because eventually the vibration will be just part of your daily riding experience and you will not bother it anymore after quite some time.  rolleyes.gif  If you want to know more about it and how to greatly minimize/reduce the vibration, pm me. I will explain. Too lazy to type in formal language here.  sweat.gif

Don't have to type formal pun boleh bro. I think since the vibration issue betul2 confirmed exist then it is really a bad sign of engineering la. It's like you bayar for something yg tak sempurna. For the seat, ya I think the dimensions are way too off but mcm worth it la for the storage space. Design dia cantik la to me. I like minimalist designs. Lagenda design a bit catering to Gen Z too much when I'm like Gen Y sulung now.

I've narrowed it down to either Lagenda 115z or Wave 125i for kapcai options and Ego gear if I go for a scooter.

I've surveyed 5 shops that are official distributors (kedai rasmi Honda & Yamaha) and the price is about the same. Lagenda is 6.3k to 6.5k and Wave is almost 1k more than that. Ego Gear is 6.8k. I might go with Lagenda but I live in an apartment. So takut for the safety of my vehicle.

I bought a SM Sport in the end since my research on the bike found that all ex5 spare parts can ngam and the price point is really cheap at RM3700. Almost half the price of this two bikes but at lower cc la. Only downside is the fuel consumption. So I'm looking at a spare bike like TVS Neo X3i now.
