surface rust on brake disk is normal. wow. you go and wipe it off? means you have to remove the rim to do so???

surface rust if you drive and step on the brakes, it will be cleared in seconds.

Nope, drive around and braking will clear it off.

Just to illustrate to TS, the point that its just surface rust. It is only on the surface, not down to the metal.

I am using TRW rotor which does not have any holes. It is sufficient for my use as it is being used by just a normal user.

As for the brake pad, I am using FBK. It is very cheap for a ceramic based pad. However, I think it is not fully ceramic, maybe a mixture.

It does have less brake dust than usual and for the price, I ain't complaining.

No problems so far.

I have use this TF brand ,rotor with holes. Been using for 2-3 years d. But somehow feels like the rotor cepat nipis. Pad change only 1 time .
I realized the rotor itself is much thinner than Ori myvi rotor.
Now thinking to change new rotor, what brand is recommended? I saw alot online but still not sure which brand is more lasting.
And 1 more thing happen, after change to TF rotor. I never had abs effect. Ever I emergency brake also no abs function. Weird

I use ceramic brake pad bro. Almost 3 years d haven't change. Even when it's new the pad look thicker compare to perodua Ori pad.

might be the pad is 'hard', that's why the pad still thick.. 3 years haven't changed..
i know ceramic pad less dust and longer wear life.. maybe it eats the rotor..

Yes. Maybe it eats the rotor. I can say almost no dust at all or Totally no dust. Compare to last time perodua pad, every day can see my rim coat with dust.

Yep. Most oem pad on 'softer' material, that's why sure full of dust on rim... 😄

I has done some reviews on questa rotor. Affordable price and it's with holes . I prefer rotor with holes mia. There's different.
