this is the newly open mixed rice in Air Putih, Kuantan.
Damn a lot of people.
A bit pricey for kuantan standard.
But taste is not bad.

The franchise one... they don't have a fixed name for all branches because their branches are based on the lot number of the shop, for example:

128 Mixed Rice
88 Mixed Rice
69 Mixed Rice

but their signboard is usually green color with the lot number big big.

they are very systematic, have staff in stationed to scoop rice for you, then 1 or 2 cashiers at the end of the line. free plain water/chinese tea and soup of the day (taste ok also)

usually air-conditioned and well-maintained. they have cleaners who regularly clear and clean the tables as well.

there are TVs in the shop that showcase their manufacturing and food preparation process, professionally edited and done like documentary, and narrated in mandarin.

I suspect the boss is PRC. very good business. probably raking in millions a day from all the outlets.

All same shit. Chinese mix rice where got taste. All kicap, soup, goreng kosong. But it's good after eating mamak or banana leaft often, sometimes you want some bland food.

I'm sure there are gems among the shitty ones

Cant say best as I have not visited every stall in whole Malaysia

if you compare to mamak yes.. but cut down on mamak la everyday nasi briyani with overdose kuah i scare you will die early.
Chinese mix rice some of those i also find it too salty or too sweet liao.

indeed... i actually just had it yesterday.. basically little rice, ada ikan, ada ayam, ada sayur all add up me and my wife punya chap fan RM23/26.. wife punya just dishes only..

then here come not sure factory worker or construction worker, myanmar / nepal.. took alot of rice and just some meat at the top for RM3.30. immediately i feel bad.. Sometimes it's not even a buffet for the poor.

Behind the temple near klcc got a huge vegetarian shop. Not sure if still there tak coz so many years never go liao after changed job. I do remember lotsa people will crowd the place during lunch time.

I did when I was still working around that area. Not bad actually. Quite cheap too if not mistaken.
