As far as I known, there’s no such post regarding to Condo with Big living room post. I’m a home nerd, so I prefer to have a big living room for my first home purchase, any property SIFU can recommend.

Which condos have your viewed which is close to your requirements ?

So far the layout I like the most is SkyVogue Type B 1300 sqft, but abit pricy plus leasehold and bare unit.

I’d gather you’re after a horizontal layout where the living room and dining are side by side? This tends to let in a lot of light. Sunway Mont in MK has it even for 1k sf layout but 2 rooms.

Can consider O2 Seri Kembangan, big living Abd balcony with minimal room attached, many units on the auction market nowadays.

Huge living room, 5xx psf.. should fit the bill

The price stagnant for years…. Just suitable for ownstay

Want cheaper condo can get at seri Kembangan, Puchong, balakong, Cheras Selangor area

Cheras, Puchong area: Window on The Parks, O2, 9nine, Casa Green Cheras… etc.

Bkt Jalil: KM1, The Treez, The Rainz, Park Sky, Coville, Savanna 1 & 2, Skylux, TwinArk

TMN Desa, OUG: Gen KL, Gembira Residence, Le Yuen, Riyang

Above are proper condos that suitable for family living. Freehold somemore except O2

alira metropark...got horizontal layout but less than 1k sqft

or

D'Clover 1400 sqft...u can hack walls...become large living, 2 BR, and large kitchen

How about Legacy OUG? Also horizontal layout with big living space, even for smallest unit. Below 650 psf, if you go for huge units can go below 600 psf.

Want bigger living room, can consider windows on the park. the Large size unit 1600+sq above. It has very wide and big spacious living room.

The Topic Started is looking for big living room ma. Legacy rooms are very similar size to Vogue too. How is it very small ?

Yeah definitely for own stay.. really for those who wants a size of a landed with security and facilities

The only put off for me was for such a large layout we only have 2 car parks.. extra carpark lots have been fully purchased from people around

Months) and viewing over 15 properties from places such as kelana jaya, Tropicana(where we’re living right now), Kota Damansara, mont kiara, did consider north kiara but it’s not really convenient for us for our daily commute

This layout is quite interesting actually. An idea is to have your wardrobes outside the bedrooms for the smaller rooms. The wide corridor will be a bit dark though.

Hmm , in layout the 2 small rooms seems decent and sufficient for wardrobe for kids or young adult. I don’t see the reason why must put the wardrobe outside . Big man said the room is small but I see macam sama with skyvogue saja 🤔

The corridor area looks more like storage or display cabinet more since there is no storerooms for small condos.

Learn 2 hack your thinking. There’s like 15-20 feet of storage space easily in that corridor. Wardrobes by their virtue take up a big chunk of space so this means you could have a comfortable spacious room with a study and toy storage perhaps.

We are so married to archaic concepts of what a house should look like. This is why developers are so afraid to experiment because of backwards thinking.

If you are buying your first house

Better don't trust real estate agents
just take their advice as reference,
go around yourself and do research

Yes is 20 feet of cabinet/wardrobe area. Well base on your explanation and logic , is really a very new and good idea to have the wardrobe outside for the smaller room store area to have a make space for room.

Baby/Kids don’t need that much of privacy to have the wardrobe inside their room until they are much older

Normally form follows function but in apartment living function has to follow form (layout). I don’t know if one needs 20 feet of spare storage cabinets so what I mentioned seems logical.
