i would definitely go for a SX rather than a Squier...its definitely a better choice IMO in terms of price and the wood used...owned two SX before and regreted selling them...haha

Which models of SX guitars have you owned? And what's your opinion on them? I love my SX Tele so much. Hahha this thread has gone out of topic.

maybe get one of these - Squier 51 - own a LP and a strat, n always wanted to get a tele - ended up getting this cheap strat+tele blonde with black pg last month - changed the plastic nut to fender bone nut, though the plastic nut sounded just as good. the guitar stays in tune well too - but i'll be upgrading the bridge and tuner soon, and maybe LP style pickup selector.

I saw the double humbucker Semi-hollow tele in Bents that I REALLY love.

My GAS for a semi-hollow grows every day........ sigh......

Ultimate plan is to get a semi-hollow with P-90 (or equivalent) pickups.

Going back in the history of 1972, Fender has a Telecaster Custom Deluxe 72'. This looks great and it sounds great too!

I am planning to get a Squier but I think it is better to get a Fender instead based on the wood specification and the headstock rules. Based on USD retail, it is costs around RM3k. To me this is a worth buying guitar.
