Uncle soon fry rice now in KD... FROM subang come to KD... found this place then went to try after reading review from fellow subang ppl feel that normal only nothing special..😢😢😢 lagi mahal not cheap leh... i can find more better taste of fry rice.. elsewhere... not sure why subang folks say this is nice? SUbang ppl taste weird ka? Feel its over rated la.... nothing special...😢😢😢

Anyone try before? What do you think?

It's nice with plenty of chopped charsiew. Every mouthful u can taste charsiew inside. The chili is nice too but it's the common type that i've tasted before in thai food. But the price in ur pic i think it's old price. New price abit more expensive. To me, the fried rice a tad expensive, but then again, everything is expensive these days

I've tried KD one when they newly opened. Not nice at all. I thought maybe I ordered thru Grab, quality dropped 🤔. Never had their fried rice from KD anymore.

Ok la probably 6/10 for me, I feel ingredients more than the usual Chinese stir fry.

very nice combination soy sauce fried rice + old skool char xiu + big fire fried egg + sourish sambal cili

kl and selangor ppl have weird tastebud. The food they say are nice normally tend to be lousy.

in kl and selangor , they charge you rm 9 for a hokkien mee with one small little prawn and they say is nice and cheap lol

for koay teow with raw egg also same. That day went to klang eat their famous koay teow , wtf when finally arrived , it taste like malay koay teow basah with a little mini prawn . locals say its cheap and nice.

salty and give you a small prawn and whole plate is koay teow. in ipoh that moon koay teow is so famous but if they come to penang to compete , they probably have to close shop within 6 months lol

Selangor kuey teow - small prawn not fresh no siham summore kek. Charge rm7 haha

If i recall thier charsiew and egg is 7.50 for small size if im not wrong. Big is 9 and extra big is more than 10

But seriously u eat extra big ? U fat pork chop la diu order so big for 2 person and complain more than 10 ringgit for fried rice

Tried the one in KD. While it's above average, but has nothing to shout about as well. Is the original shop in SS15 taste better?

Tried the HQ. First bite can feel alot of wok hei. But that's about it. Taste very normal, but it can be elevated with its sambal, although not by much.
So you can think of it as a fried rice that has more wok hei than your typical food court fried rice.

Even the Subang branch, it's just fried rice? Nothing special. Just normal fried rice at your neighbourhood kopitiam.

Sambal not bad la, but that's all I can say.

Try it at their original outlet at Subang Square SS15.

Before this, they operated from a stall inside a coffee shop nearby.

Overated, oily, rice not coated properly when frying cos nvr used overnight rice, prawns small, no lard bits..even in SS15, rarely eated cos person frying like no mood.

was there for quite some time already. not nice

Their sambal is better than the fried rice.
