Not mistaken, got time frame like 90 or 120 days... impossible that it took more than 18 months unless there is something between buyer and seller, such as willing to wait for local authority's consent/approval. That is pretty common during MCO, land office tutup/ tak kerja, sanitization bla bla bla...

Look back into your signed papers, read every single line... surely got clause to protect buyer and seller..

hi guys.. need some advice.. the bank called a few days ago and said that the loan should be no problem and can be approved.. but today agent call me and said need about 1 and half year for all to be finalized because the owner havent change the name from developer? is this true that need to take that long to finalize if havent change? i also dont understand why owner wanna sell the house if havent finalized the ownership/ name change.. and i also already paid 3%, wait for 1+ year, it's like my money stuck here

I just purchased a property without strata title last month. Will be getting the keys soon. Title can wait. Once ready, my lawyer will kaotim. I can also sell the property without the title later.

Your lawyer will know what to do. Act on his advise. If he says terminate, then tell the agent. He has to refund you the money.

Some agents are not knowledgeable in property legal matters.

same issue last time when my wife bought a apartment for investment..the strata tittle still under developer name..need to do double transfer and almost take 1.5 year before getting the key..as the price selling is under market value and it is not urgent buy so she ok with it..your agent should inform u about this issue before placing ur booking..
