Hi guys,

So I've been scouring the forums and blogs for some guides but I wanna doublecheck.

So the ask is that I maintain the Maxis (Kaon) RGW whilst using the D-Link Mesh WiFi units to create a Mesh network. This is so I can maintain the phone line and 4G SIM Backup.

So I heard that instead of using the pppoe method, all I need to do is:

(Edited: this seems to work)

1. Connect D-Link to Maxis' LAN port (Maxis RGW maintain as LAN2 to TM BTU)
2. Set to DHCP in D-Link settings
3. Disable VLAN ID, if not already disabled

Is it that simple?

Which D-Link mesh is it? If it's the newer COVR series I think they can mesh together with EasyMesh standard
