Ok so here it goes the MSI MPG Trident A 11, one of the most compact pre-build PC you can find out there. Please do take note on the word compact as this not-so-big and not-so-small PC did it justice to hamstring one or two main deal-breaker in buying a PC.

Call me superficial freak or what so ever but I do judge the book by its cover when I want to buy things. Its slick, tall, dark and fit looking appeals my eyes like no other casing can do. come on, have you not seen how square and plain most micro-ATX PC there ? And please don't talk about the naked one where you can see everything inside because they are totally not in the league. It's love at the first sight for me with this PC. but the problem is when you stuff all the PC components too tight, you definitely have to compromise couple of things. And for MPG Trident A 11, MSI decided to neglect the CPU cooling system by letting the most basic stock cooler do all the work, hence produce a loud turbo jet sound (ok, I exaggerate) but It's loud. As all of you can imagine, this definitely affect the CPU performance. And with the super helpful MSI Centre app, it's easy to see the CPU temperature hit thermal throttling point of 65C at idling times. I try to put my external laptop fan Olmaster sitting it upward close to the CPU and it does help reduce the temperature a bit. I haven't google up to find a more sophisticated solution for this but will definitely do so right after I finish this review.

Having said all that, this pre-build pc is not all disappointing. with 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and rtx 3060, it's no doubt can play all high graphically demanding games smoothly like 7e slurpy flowing smoothy into the cup and give you all that chillin exciting flavor. Ok...whATever.

As for myself, I am very happy with my purchase considering I bought it bundle with MSI Optix G24 series monitor + MSI vigor gk30 keyboard and mouse under 36 months interest free credit card installment plan. I sold my Asus rog gaming laptop (GTX 1060) for RM2K++ for this PC so yeah not bad at all. Plus, I only find out few days back that there is MSI Hari Raya Promotion still running until end of this month where you can redeem RM600 for steam wallet if you bought this hot 'supermodel' gaming PC. That's a real bonus for me. I mean I never know about this promotion when I bought it. WOOHOO!! Couldn't be happier. rclxm9.gif
