This car as its a 2.0 seems reasonable. What are the most expensive repairs you've encountered with this car? Previously bought a bmw v8 was a horror so wondering if this 328i is ok or also a workshop kaki.

No problem. B48 engine ok. Transmission very good.
failing interior plastic parts is not considered problem. Just replace them.

The rest like any other car. Way more reliable than a Civic.

Suspension, if you buy m sport, the adaptive suspensions are expensive to replace.
Gearbox oil change is around 1K.
Very reliable car, mostly are wear an tear.
328i is pre-facelift are using N20 engine. The engine sound a bit like diesel engine especially at cold start.
How much you plan to pay for it?
I plan to sell mine.

where got use timing belt.


to TS, N20 is fine. advisable to replace the timing chain (chain, guides, tensioner etc) after mileage hits above 100k. This thing can fail, especially pre-2015 N20s.

Great choice! Go for it. Parts no prob la. My 2011 e90 320d going strong. The N20 is rock solid and reliable, parts easy to find and tons of mechanics who have worked on BMWs everywhere.

Currently a 330i LCI B48 owner.

Problems: Comms unit, wheel speed sensor, sticky interior door handle, coolant leaking, seat panel cracked twice.
