In my company, you can work till last retirement age. Just like normal working without place in a contract or anything.

Just the boss or some colleague sometimes rant about the rock brain of the age worker can't change. tongue.gif

I think this part refers to the previous post that states retirement age is min 60, max 65 or something like that.
Since it's not explicitly fixed, he's probably asking whether companies have the flexibility to retire staff from age 60 to 65 depending on their value.

Well I read back that post, using term like "don't like some" and "fire"...that's a hostile message being put across

Back to your argument whether companies have flexibility to retire staff by pushing back retirement age...of course can...

If you comment like that in Kopitiam section I can understand la

But I now commenting in Serious section

In reality when you don't like how HR treat you, well this is free market. You can hunt for other jobs. Continue to be negative team player is something I can never tolerate

Sorry for the late reply.

Asked 2 lawyers and both give different answers. One said required to pay compensation as same as retrenchment? One said no need pay anything.

Wtf !!!

Anyway i will just give 1 month's notice as stated in employment contract.

Thank you for all the replies.
