I broke mine today while trying to remove the glass door. I was careful but still, the door slipped through my fingers and the corner edge hit the floor only about an inch away. Think it will not break if the impact is on the long side, a larger area to reduce the impact force.

Plan to use acrylic perspex for my new door. Saw a few videos on the web on this repair.

Wonder why the casing manufacturers dont use plastic for the doors.

Appreciate feedback if you have useful tips on how to solve this. Thanks.

I think plastic don't have as much transparency as glass.
Can try contact the manufacturer or distributor to check whether they sell only the door.

My cousin same thing, dropped the glass panel onto floor while removing it. Replaced with acrylic panel from nearby shop.

I just started using my first case with 2 TG panels. Already dropped one panel once but luckily onto a box. Probably just a matter of time before I break them.

glass cheaper than plexiglass.

maybe use this next time when removing the glass door for better handling.
i hate holding glass panels by the edge, always have the feeling it will drop anytime.
