i wonder when these gems will hit malaysian market??and what the price would be??b4, Black edition 6400+ announced and now 5000+.

but it would be better if 5000+ got 2mb L2 cache also...or would be the price will be cheaper due to this lower cache?? brows.gif

L2 cache doesn't affect X2 performance much.

Unlocked multis are actually a selling point- this is 65W (keep in mind that 6000+ and 6400+ are hot), should overclock cooler and I can use my existing crap board for a speed boost. But meh- waiting for Phenoms to drop into my socket.

Wrong conclusion. tongue.gif

65nm has never had a high multiplier chip because AMD thought it wasn't worth it then (limited production for good yields).
I see moderately better (extra 1/200Mhz+?) results 'cause you don't need to push your FSB/RAM and somehow that should give it some breathing room.
