Can anyone advise 1. whether I should go into MSc (Medical Statistic) by USM or MSc in Statistics by UM? 2. Does MSc (Medical Statistic) by USM available through remote learning? Research based?
Then, it will depend on your research topic, not the name of your degree, or which university. After graduate, you will be expert in your research field.
For example, you spend a few years researching the effect of covid19 to diabetic patients. You will be expert in this research field, you will publish research papers about this field.
That's it, nothing related to your MSc in what. People see your thesis topic.
After graduate, you will review papers related to this field. Editors from journals will contact you and ask you to help review papers for them. You can also continue to research this field even after you graduate, and you'll be widely recognized globally as an expert in this field.
