at least we can just pull down the window a bit if no aircon inside taxi. but inside plane, cannot open window. imagine 12 hours straight flight, all passengers drench in sweat, lol

Happened also in Djibouti when I took Doulas Airways (forgot already the spelling). Aircond off.... when all embarked, door closed then plane started engine + aircond.

This airways so powerful, during takeoff steward still can walk 🤣🤣 then ppl talked non stop onboard, cant sleep like pasar. When I arrived dubai then I knew I was on business seat 😄

Boeing 737 always feels hot compared With Airasia a320. But i prefer mas coz more comfy

5 May I was on MAS Boeing 737.

Usually I do NOT check in baggage. This time, bringing stuff for work
My baggage arrived with a broken wheel. MAS compensate RM40 only.

Please invest a sturdier luggage or just travel light with hand carry.

I think the aircon condenser fan konk liao. Once moving, the natural air will cool down the compressed gas owai.

What caused the plane to get hot?

Did the aircond really not working or because they were stuck on runway so long they had to turn off aircond to avoid battery drain.

Generally, the APU is used when boarding to run the air system and other electricals. I think aircraft techs can chime in if the APU alone can power the cooling packs. You may still get air but no cooling.

But from experience on my many flights, the APU only powers the cabin fan. The air conditioning packs are usually powered by ground supply when boarding or after the engines start. If either is not available, you might not get cooling. On a loaded plane during takeoff, they may switch off the cooling packs to maintain maximum thrust and just using the APU to power the fan.

After takeoff the main engines will power the cooling packs and air supply.

I kena once with KTM train... hot like oven. Havent been on a KTM train since then.

Where did this happened by the way? APU alone can provide aircond. Ground supply only used when APU unavailable.For power they have another cart.
