I am 356 LW and skinner, typical hunter profession.

Started from last week was farming gold. 2.5k G atm.

What I did was

- selling 2 clefthide leg armor for 55g a piece == 110g per day
- Only manage to do 1 daily ( fire on skettis, couldn;t find the escort npc ) == 12 g per day
- farming 4 primal water while doing skettis , 18g per primal == 72g per day
- 2 stacks of Thick Clefthoof leathers selling 55g per stack == 110g per day
- While farming clefthoof, able to farm 2 primal air if lucky 25g per primal == 50g per day
- cobra scales 20g per scale, coilfang reservoir, if lucky get 4 scales but quite hard to sell in AH.
- experimenting netherdrake scales, 10 scales for 50g
- farming arcane tomes and sunfury , 1 arcane tomes == 15g, 15signets == 10g
- tonnes of scraps, which can turn into 20 heavu clefthoofs, selling 4 heavy clefthoof for 10g

So anything I left ? To maximise profit ?, and BTW I don't farm primal due to heavy competitions.

Green items = DE into shards and arcane dust and those essence.

Sells extremely well.

Question : You're not doing dailies ? Those are easily nearly 100g per day.

escape from skettis - 12g

yet to start with ogrila
don't have 300 riding for netherwing

here's one very simple tip to get the remaining 2500gold...

Finish off all the quest in netherstorm and SMV.

*i know how u feel cuz i too was stuck at 2500g and was drooling for netherwing mount*

netherwing mount is the bombz.

Just do all the daily quests.
BTW, Screw you blizzard for nerfing escort quest!!!
They changed it from 11g99s to 9g.
They are overnerfing it. I remember it was Super Mana/Healing Pots previously and now it is some stupid lvl 50+ ish pot.

I always run Coilfang instances with my guildie's alt. Providing theres no wipes (obviously no, considering how cheesy easy is heroic UB/SV/SP and they can be done in less than 2 hours), i can get like 3-4 Coilfang Armaments or sometimes 1 Shadow Pearls.
Coilfang Armaments costs like 10-12g in my server. Seriously overpriced.
Besides that, theres always shard,green junk and badges (new heroic badge items in 2.3?! Start saving them) from the run.


FIX'D

I find that Netherwing Mount is abit annoying, coz it sometimes block my view and i have difficulty in landing in narrow places (example: trying to land near the spawned escort NPC when alliance is trailing behind u)
BTW, i find it very cute to have my big fat tauren sitting on a gay orange colour ray.
Just like Tauren sitting on a mechanostrider

I hate Ogrila daily quest the most. The only reason im doing that is for those elixirs for Gruul's.

Or you can make a feral druid Mining/Herbalism alt and use it to farm.

I still like netherdrake more than the ray. I look so small on the ray....

And ogrila daily is like the fastest and easiest to do??

im such a spending whor*.. Don't think ive ever had more than 2k in my coffers. WTB discipline. Good thing the bombing run bombs CD was reduced too.

Fel Iron/Adamantite/Khorium Ore - 8g/25g/40g per stack average on my server, just circle around Nagrand for 2-3hrs can get 4-5stacks of adamantite, hitting rich adamantite deposits mainly. That was nearly 200g a day for me, not including random farming.

Primal earth sells well too on Aman'thul; 4g average for 1 primal earth, no farming needed, just mine and you'll get motes of earth easy.

hmm , juz a question, now i able to do all the daily quest exept netherdrake bcoz i stuck at the quest "saving the dragon". I heard we need to find 5 man dat neva do b4 the quest to do it ?

Afaik, doesn't matter if your party members have done it before or not, you can still complete it. And doesn't have to be 5 people only, you can get non-party members to help you dps or heal as long as you tag the mob first.

if people already done netherwing quest line they get neutral and cannot assist to dps/tank but can still assist to heal

and theres a downside on the netherdrakes... they are too fat to enter the arena vendor in area 52 >.>
was wagging my drake's tail around the entrance trying to barge in, in the end i had to dismount to get in ROFL

Get a herb and alch with transmute spec

only available for warlock,priest, hunter, healing spec shaman

farm elite tree at sketis which drop good herb,primal life, 15 rep mostly drop rare book(black lotus as well;some

caster need it);

or trade fel lotus for black lotus;

ask exilir or potion master to create pot or buff pot

sell transmute(but must hv transmuted item);

Lucky get extra transmute; AH the extra transmuted item with lower price at AH:)

sell herb (bare in mind; sell according to flask mat; 7 dreaming; 7 tercoco; 3 mana etc)

Sell primal of life;

this is how i from 1k to 5k;

tips at farming: don be greedy; take some time to wait for spawn if no competitor; don be stupid and flying around

because usually cant farm lot; for me my max tree i can farm is 3 but very rush; most is 2 tree

erm....4 hrs farming get 40 primal life;around 10 stack herb (mayb more);2 rare book and some green.

p/s AH also need some tactic; just search when hv most players on9 for raiding;

i need 2 work on my dps gear :< 6-10 primal life in 4 hours farming

fishing, fish crawdads and darters for 30g/25g per stack.
very fast especially waiting for PVP queues. i made 400g perday while farming honour points
