I assume you bought the imported Japanese set right? Phones sold in Japan have a different kind of NFC tech (called 'Osaifu Keitai') to match with their own payment system, which is probably why you can't tweak the NFC settings for your needs here.Another thing to point out is that Xperia XZ3 was never launched in Malaysia, so there's probably no way to enable the VoLTE (4G voice call) that others have mentioned here, even if you can it would be a huge hassle. So the only way is to either stick with 2G voice calls or get another cheap phone to use alongside your XZ3.
