I own a land. How much normally the price per sqft to build our own house on own land?

Should be above average price psf on each location. For insurance purpose, normally one should over insured rather than under.

Roughly for basic civil works, plumbing and electrical - RM 120 per sq ft can be done but you need to coordinate everything. If you get a main con to manage - RM 180 to RM 200 per sq fr

Can ask contractor to quote, should be amount to around RM150-200 per sqft

Does the contractor also include connecting the house to electricity and water?

depends on whether you want to build a mansion or a kampung.

or you want to stick dollar bills as finishes or bare cement render.

How big is the land, how big you want your house to be, how many storeys? What is to be included for the house?

Also, what type of land. Some lands need to incur extra $ just for the groundwork to be done properly.

Depends on the state ur land is and do u want single storey or double storey ?

Materials is traditional or modern ?

How many square feet of build up u want ?

Owned design or used professional helps ?

All this contribute to the final cost of building ur house.

It's cheap to build. But not, until when it comes to finishing, interior materials n design.

There is a huge price different between ceramic tiles and carrara marble. type of finishing will determine the total construction cost.

Just plan for RM250 to RM300 per sf included everything. Planning, local authority approval, building, electricity, plumbling and finishing. Labour and building materials is expensive nowdays not like 2 years ago.
