my mum said reagan tonic does work...but i din buy that product coz im still using neril now...i think we shudn't wash our hair too frequently.according to some experts, once a day is also too harsh for our scalp! and we shud use only mild shampoo to overcome hairloss

It depends whether your hair texture strong enough? Some ppl lose 10-20 strands when they comb, overall per day would be average 20 strands ( if i'm not mistaken )

My tips is, try to use shampoo that has the ingredient of "BIOTIN". It prevent minor hair loss and also hair breakage problem. Generates hair growth, those who wants their hair to grow faster, try this ingredient. So far, I came across the Schwarzkopf shampoo that has this ingredient! Can purchase it in Guardian or Watson. Color is White bottle with the cap in brown.

Hope this help! ^_*

Actually when you are using one brand of hair fall shampoo, then you must not change it everyday or months lar, you need to be patient a bit to get the result. One thing a lot of people don't know that not enough sleep will also cause hair thinning, people used to sleep very late, like 2-3, even 4am, then you will have the greater chance of getting hair thinning problem. You at least must sleep 7 hours a day, and also need to follow the "sun rise & sun set" method.

maxsteel,

I paid for an RM18 voucher from 101 today. It was supposed to get me some free 1 time treatment worth RM500++. I'm going to try it next week in midvalley. According to the roadshow guy, they guarantee the results. In three months if we don't see results, they will refund us. They claimed that in 6 months, our hair will grow all and healthy.

My question is, how much did you pay and what did they do? Can you tell me? Last time I went to Yun Nam, their package was more than RM10k.

Yes, I'm agree with this. I used to sleep late last time and now I'm facing the hair thinning problem. I'm using HAIR BACK product now for few months but I seriously cannot see the effect. Now, the hair tonic is finishing. I'm wondering whether I should change to another brand or not. I bought NEOLEAF hair tonic as well last time. May be I'm too worried and wanted fast effect.

Do you guys heard anything about these two products? HAIRBACK and NEOLEAF? Please give me some opinions.

Thanks!

I was just reading the website K Care Shop(I think that's the name, forgot the exact name), I read the description on Neoleaf, it's only for nourishing hair, not for hairfall or regrow hair. I use neoleaf now left 1/4 bottle, no results. will now consider Nioxin or Sheseido Fuente. heard that's good. Anyone tried them? Also, anyone tried SP Energy shampoo? Is it good? heard good feedback on it.

I've been using Shisheido Fuente for 2 months now. Can see my bald spot not so bald anymore, but the effect seems to slow down now. Don't see much improvement. Wonder if I should switch to Nioxin instead.

Unless you have a temporary skin problem in your head that affects your hair, there is likely no solution to your hair problem. Rather than spending money getting your hair back, try to look good with less hair. Try styling your hair different or consider shaving bald.

I have very long hair and so whenever 1 strain of my hair falls, it would look as if a lot was loss especially when you gather them up. and with long hair, the hair looks very thin at the end. Therefore, I have been serching for shampoo which will help reduce hair fall.

I saw there's a hair growth product by Ginvera in Guardian pharmacy. It's about 150+ and need to use their white tea shampoo too for best effect but the shampoo is quite expensive too.

I have hairfall and thinning problem, i can to read this thread last week, and went to do some research, it's really hard to choose a product after reading in here that some of u tried a product and it's still not much improvement.

Anyway I've finally came to a product because it was greatly recommended by my auntie and afew of her friends had tried it and seen hairgrowth in 2 weeks. Wow.. quite expensive but i want to try it if it really works. It's from Loreal professional.. te expert series. it's a double action hair fall program thingy which is for 6 weeks, has 42 tiny botols. it is said that using half of the bottle a day will also work.. so i bought 21 bottles share with another client.. so see how la.. so far i have used for 4 days..

will update here if it's working.. thanks u guys for sharing ur hairfall problem.

i hv alot of hair prob - oily scalp, dandruff and falling hair. so sometimes i scratch my scalp. Oct 08 i went to perm my hair and it hurt my scalp most prob coz my scalp was scratch... then my dandruff became worse, scalp became more oily and very itchy and hair dropped so much. i tolerated with the situation and tried changing various shampoos, off the shelf scalp treatment. even goes to salon to wash hair to see if my scalp itchy within the same day --> and same prob. also i din have money for specialist hair consultation.

last month (after 6 mths), i cannot tolerate coz' affecting morale. so i went to tis salon and sign up the course - 6 times treatment and bought 2 shampoos, 6 (small bottles) of tonic and 1 bottle of dunno wat. decided to spend the money coz' 2 years down the road i may be bald and all monies in the world cannot help me.

yest i had my 4th treatment (once a week) and following his regime at home....

RESULT:
DANDRUFF 80% gone... now still got but abit only.
SCALP no longer reddish but still oily. but not itchy at all anymore... HOORAY!
HAIR FALL i must say reduced tremendously, but still drop lar...

for permed hair, shd use treatment shampoo and leave-in conditioner. normal conditioner not so effective as wash away. then use a good curl mouse or balm to control hair freeziness and create nice curls. also if u got extra money u can buy diffisuer to fix to ur hair dryer to dry curly hair (can buy from garage sales)...

rclxub.gif aiyoh i think i investigated so much on hair prob haha, starting to give my comments... but of course i not professional lar... still check with specialist... tat should be the way... professional help for long term solution...

btw i currently use EKS sea mineral shampoos - 3 different types - dandruff, scalp care and hydrating... i love them...

I would recommend Neways Second Chance Shampoo. It helps hair to grow and I have personally used it. Less hair fall and smoother hair. Love the conditioner too! wub.gif

hmm... Some brands are so high in chemical.. There is this brand essentialli but it's currently outta stock. You can get them from SHINS. It's very natural. It has the full range plus ampoule also. It's not reli cheap but I like that it's natural and made from herbs. There's no SLS and so there's no foam at all. That is something you must get used to. I like any products that doesn't has SLS and no foam so I'm ok with it. I'm currently using the same brand but for dandruff treatment. I must say the smell is quite strong but it works and I love it.

MY shampoo I buy Lakme from SHINS and they are quite nice. That's the closest to the most natural brand you can find.

Nioxin has fragrance in it and SLS is quite high also. So it depends on individual. Maybe it works for you smile.gif

I hope I can help those who has hairfall and hairloss, oily scalp problem coz I have those problem too...
As you know no shampoo is a miracle and when something works fast means the chemical content is very high. Sometimes you just gotta be patient.

My problem is oily scalp and it can be smelly too. Sometimes I have dandruff also due to some certain factors like not enough sleep, sleep late, pollution. And my scalp is very sensitive. I use the wrong shampoo my hair will look super dull and my scalp will be super oily and dandruff will produce. I used to use a brand called Lanza and I buy it from SHINS. I have been using it for 5 years and recently they do not take the product anymore becoz they have change the formula and seems that they have added some chemical to it. My hair fall like mad and I've been losing a lot of hair. Dandruff got worse. It was suppose to be a scalp treatment as the shampoo I bought is called Remedy Shampoo.

So then I tried switching brands and tried Lakme. So claimed that Lakme is close to Lanza as one of the partner has came out to form Lakme this brand. So then I tried and I've tried so many from Lakme and still gave me the same problem including the Dandruff control. So then I decided to get the Deep Cleanse shampoo from Lakme instead. I tried it and loved it so much. It cleanse my scalp and doesn't make my hair oily at all. But then I do advice ppl who wash their hair especially long hair... I only put shampoo on the scalp and just wash the scalp. When I rinse the shampoo will fall on the hair so you don't really need a lot of shampoo. The best is to mix the shampoo with water first then only apply it to your scalp or else it will be too harsh or too strong for your scalp to take it.

As for Hair Loss you can try Essentialli and found at Shins also as I have mentioned above. Currently it's outta stock. I'm also waiting for the dandruff range which I love so much. I do hope my sharing here can help and answer those who has been thru trials and errors which are quite irritating and money wasting as you have to buy the whole bottle of shampoo and put it to waste when you cannot use it and if it doesn't suit u. I feel you coz I've been through that. I've bought 4 bottles and I had to force myself and my bf to use it until our hair has gone haywire. That is done and I'm not going through that phase again.

If anybody would like to know my opinion and some little advice on the same problem feel free to pm me and ask me anything at all. smile.gif Glad to share and be of help.

Take care all

But then oil is too rich for some sensitive scalps and also dandruff prone scalps... so you still have to becareful. Morever our climate is very humid. It might not be suitable smile.gif

Hmmm it's not really exp for the Clarifying shampoo and the Anti-dandruff shampoo... If anyone wants some sample I can sell some but not for the Anti-dandruff shampoo coz it has gone OOS for quite long and I'm still waiting for the new stock to arrive sorry. PM me if anyone needs a sample smile.gif

Anyways here's the picture for the 2 shampoes that I'm using. I hope it helps... smile.gif I hope the picture is clear enough...

Attached Image

You can only get this 2 brands from SHINS smile.gif
When you speak to the SA's in SHINNS clearly tell them you do not want any chemical based shampoo if possible.
To try a shampoo if you are not sure get the smallest bottle available. smile.gif

To try a shampoo if you are not sure get the smallest bottle available. smile.gif

i search shinns webpages but couldn't manage to find the essentialli product.. any link to details? tq... icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Anyone using BF1 Hair treatment product ? My friend currently recommend me to a saloon and beside buying the product, i need to go treatment every week . Cost me almost rm500+ per month but i still see minimal effect after almost 2 months.

Is it normal everytime i wash my hair, i lost around 10-15 hairs ?

Some link to BF1 product . http://hair-growth.bf-1.com/?cat=9

And if anyone using this product, i would like to ask some instruction how to use the hair tonic. Bottle instruction ask me to rinse after apply it for 15 minutes. But saloon fella ask me apply it , and dont wash out.

Better go c a doctor. They have solutions for hair loss. They can recommend shampoo. It could be due to insufficient zinc consumption.
Get their advice.

The saloon fella say my case need to go do treatment every week until see improvement. Tomorrow going to my 6th treatment. Actually any saloon also offer hair treatment, just that depend on the product they use. The saloon i going using full range Bf1 product. But i think i going to stop using it if no improvement in another 1 month.

Best shampoo for Dandruff
Nizoral (Ketoconazole 1% ingredients)

To be used :
2x a week, not more than that.

Why I like it?
After suffering from on/off dandruff for 18 years, Nizoral wiped my dandruff away in 1 single wash. Totally free of dandruff.

Beware..
If you have dandruff it means your scalp produces alot of sebum which turns to dandruff (dry flaky ones or the smelly oily residue type)
Nizoral is very drying to the scalp, thus you need to use just a little bit, the size of 20 sen or less and lather up your hair, leave on for 3-5 minutes and then rinse. Do not apply any conditioner, except for hair ends if you have super long hair. Because Nizoral is too drying, your scalp will produce more oil, you will notice after 2nd week of usage that your scalp even more oilier. How?

To control oiliness
Put some pure Apple Cider Vinegar on your head 15-30 minutes before you wash, this will rid of the oil on your scalp. Then wash normally with SLS-free shampoo or just plain water.

Main cause of hair thinning and hair loss
SLS/ALS/*LS contained in shampoo. Find organics/natural without these ingredients.

Try the following routine

Monday / Nizoral shampoo
Tuesday / Rinse with water
Wednesday / ACV + rinse with water
Thursday / Nizoral shampoo
Friday / Rinse with Water
Saturday / ACV + Rinse with water
Sunday / Rinse with water

Scalp treatment
Aloe vera gel directly from plant > cut and apply on the scalp > leave to dry.

Supplement
Organic black sesame > add on drinks, food etc.

I'm not sure if it works for regrowth or not but my mum and I did something as simple as not using shampoo and using soap (any kind) to wash hair. I noticed hair getting less brittle and less drops off. I also noticed I have less dandruff problems after doing that.

For dandruff people,

Take Vitamin B Complex and use Olive Nendoh Super Virgin Olive Oil.

Normally I apply it and leave it overnight, next day wake up wash my hair. This oil is not oily and doesn't clog your pores.

http://www.olivenendoh.com/cleansers/super...-oil-200ml.html

Use shampoo with Vitamin B.

Good luck! I do not have dandruff now.

Last time I went to Yun Nam, their package was more than RM10k.

it depends on ur hormones, food intake and products u used oso...
so we have to take good care of a lot of things to have healthy shinny hairs... wink.gif

use coconut oil. massage your scalp once a week with it. yes, it's a bit smelly, you have to wash it 3-4 times after that. but u can see result immediately. i also use hair protein from Himalaya.

I've been having this issue since I was 13. My parents got so worried that they asked for our family doctor consultation.
He said that it is perfectly normal for teenagers especially female to experince hair loss when they hit puberty. However, it is still best to curb the issue to prevent balding in the future.

I am currently using Himalaya hair loss thing. Just apply at the scalp every night before sleep for three months and results will show. So far I've been only using for a few weeks but I don't see any improvement. But I'll use it continuosly and will do a feedback after 3 months.

There is also a home remedy for hair loss that I have yet to try out. Its real simple :

Wash hair without shampoo or soap, rub SALT into SCALP for 10 to 15 minutes then shampoo as usual. Repeat once a week for 5-6 weeks.

hair loss is usually generic or due to active sebaceous glands(oily scalp)
just wash ur hair daily, keep it clean
DONT ever apply any oil on the scalp. It will clogged up the pores n hair will not grow.

severe problem: Take PROPESIA(fr. pharmacy)

hiya,

my tips:

avoid
1. avoid shampoos that use Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Conditioners that have silicone (hint: dimethicone is one of the silicone products). Himalaya shampoo doesn't use SLS but the conditioner has silicone.
2. Don't use mineral/parrafin oil on the hair.

TRY:
1. coconut oil as hair oil, OR - put on head for a few minutes then shampoo.
2. castor oil but it's very thick.
3. gamat water (odorless) just spray on the head twice a day <-- this worked for me and my dad
4. consume vitamin E
5. coconut milk put on head for half an hour before shampoo.

What my regimen was:
1. Himalaya Shampoo
2. Gamat water
3. Coconut oil

It helped to stop my hair loss and helped regrow the bald patches. I had hairloss because I constantly went for rebonding and was using a hairwax product on my head.. BAD DECISION! cry.gif rclxub.gif

Anyways, now I want a FULLER head of hair and I took Evening Primrose Oil. EPO does speed up hair growth (in less than a year my chin length hair was almost to my bra strap already) but not add to quantity of hair...

so those are my tips and does anyone have suggestion how to grow more hair on the scalp?

Yum Nam was total scam.....the best solution is clean your hair properly (if you have oily hair, those oil will hold more dht on your hair root which will make the root die off) and in take of Avodart and propecia(which I have taken before....the side effect I gain is I lost some interest in women for that period of med intake), so later I manage to change to minoxidil where I bought it from local pharmacy. But I can't affort it due to the price so, I buy it via forum which is way cheaper here is a example of it (minoxidil)

hi, i also once hair loss until i can see the line that separate hair to left and right... it is very ugly. now my hair is slowly growing back now.... there are many reason to cause this... it could be your

1. your job very stress
2. not enough nutrien (mostly only will cause you grey/ white hair)
3. change of hormones
4. using not suitable shampoo
5. oily scalp

and if you have oily scalp, you must change your pillow case FREQUENTLY. if not, it may cause your face pimples. shakehead.gif

TO CURE:

My mum thought me the old ancient remedy to cure dandruff and oily scalp, in order to have healthy scalp. you need to get 'limau kasturi', a few biji, slice it into half and rub it on your scalp not your hair. rub longer on your most problematic area, then tide your hair up in a bun, and leave it for half an hour. When you are doing this, make sure your hair and scalp is dry. Do it before you go to bath.

After that, rinse it with cold/ normal temp water. then wash with your shampoo.

Do it 2 -3 times a week. then you will see the result... nod.gif

most hair loss caused by DHT, which stands for Dihydrotestosterone (5α-Dihydrotestosterone), is a male sex hormone, an androgen. 5α-reductase, an enzyme, synthesizes DHT in the adrenal glands, hair follicles, testes and prostate. Male and female adults can lose hair as a consequence of changes in the metabolism of androgen in the body - men more commonly than women. DHT plays a major role in hair loss.

Or alternatively, you can try taking propecia, a hairloss drug which suppress DHT releases in your body. Please take note of the side effects and research it thoroughly before going on it! It's a lifetime commitment and situation might worsen than before you started taking it.

The best combo for hereditary hairloss = rogaine + propecia, google them up ! They're rather expensive, if you want to opt for cheaper option go for proscar split into 4, it has the same content as propecia except in different portion. Prosar is a drug for prostate-related diseases btw.

*important* : Research it thoroughly as propecia messes with your hormone and has many undesirable side effects. It is a godsend for male pattern baldness though.

Hair loss really make ppl worry...as i also have experience it before..hair loss getting more , hair becoming thin, since my situation is not that serious, after i tried on "Bosley" hair shampoo then it help hair grow and prevent hair loss....
Hmm however this shampoo is hardly found in local market, thus if u found from saloon the selling price is a bit higher.

If anyone thinking of getting propecia you shouldn't because proscar is lots cheaper. Same drug but has 5mg instead of 1mg. So you get a pill cutter and then you get 5 doses for same as 1 dose. My brother does this. Save thosuands over years because you keep doing it for your life. When you stop, then your hair falls out again.
Sorry if someone might have said this. I only read last pages.

Well I faced that problem a long time ago. I think 2 years before but now i am fine. I was also using their types of products as I was becoming bald but found them useless. They control the hair loss to some limit but I needed some more results. So I made a proper diet plan and avoid things which affect my hair.

Hi everyone, I would strongly recommend Origin Herbal for hair loss problem.Previously I was also facing severe hair loss problem and was really anxious to see hair keep thinning and I thought I will go BALD! I tried some hair loss treatment products but they aren't effective.I was once considering patronize Yun Nam and Beijing 101 but i saw some negative comments about their price and how they forcefully promote customers to buy products and sign treatment packages.Later I visited some forums and they recommend Origin Herbal. I went there and the results are really good! Firstly they scanned your scalp and explained your condition to you. They will only recommend products that are really necessary for you.In my case , I bought shampoo and hair tonic which cost me about RM200++.I tried their products and my hair loss problem is now solved! They didn't force me to take treament packages so I went for treatment once only since the products itself is enough for me.Anyhow the price for treatment are obviously much more cheaper than Yun Nam and Beijing 101! So, I would like to share good services with those who face the same problems with me before. For those who interested, please enter the link below: www.origin.com.my/t-hair-loss.htm

Hi guys, u should check on "demodex mite", it might be source of your problem..
I also have hairfall & dandruff now, and previously i had tried a free test on my hair scalp (at one of exhibition), it showed that i have this demodex mites on my hair, quite scary when u imagine that there are parasites on your head..
It's not only growth on your hair, but also other places on your facial area, especially the nose, forehead, chin, and cheeks.. ( i notice my eye brow doesn't grow as much as before..)
i haven't try the remedy, other than neril tonic, and it doesn't work on me.. =(
if u guys got solution about it, should be really appreciated =))

I have very fine and thin hair hair as well. I notice my hair drops a lot when I'm stressed out. I've tried a few brand like kerastase, shiseido fuente and so far nioxin works best. I'm using the nioxin system 2, Can see difference lo if use the shampoo and serum regularly on a daily basis... yes though the shampoo is on a pricier side but it works 😌

I've compared the price and i got mine from online instead, 11street, the price is lowest and you can apply any promo voucher you got from 11street.

I've spent almost RM15K in 2016 on a local branded hair treatment centre, didn't work for me. I've since discovered and started marketing this product which I found to be effective. At just a few hundred bucks, I think it's something most people can afford.

I use HIMALAYA before, it was good
Using MARO now, i am very happy with it, it really strengthen your hair, giving it strength to stand and looks more volume, no more flat flat,
try use shampoo together with the essence for better result (why i sounds like commercial, lol, but its true la)

You can buy MARO at guardian or online hermo.my, or i saw it also available at the recent new brought in beauty store at Fahrenheit , called PLAY UP (something like SASA)
