Just park along any less busy road like those near cimb/ocbc for whole day only RM6 payable by MBJB app. Next day click for another whole day. Going to try day soon as I am going into Singapore for 3 days.

QUOTE(CoffeeDude @ Sep 1 2022, 11:43 PM) No need. The parking is open to public. Just that the charges are not cheap so less cars parks there. Nearer CIQ, open car parks only RM20 a day.

QUOTE(rx330 @ May 9 2025, 12:50 PM) do remember there is pasar karat ard Ocbc there, so pick wisely where u park Yes pasar malam every nite. If parked wrong lots, the vehicle will be towed away in the evening. Have seen towing when I was at the pasar malam. If lots not used for pasar malam stall, your car may be trapped and cannot leave till end of pasar malam. So it's right to say pick wisely where u park. QUOTE(Zhik @ May 9 2025, 07:07 PM) Wa. Why drive all the way to jb and park the car for 3 weeks lol. If need to park for 3 weeks, the parking charges in JB town will be insane. Might as well rent a car that allowed return of car at destination point. Or park at some megamart like lotus in terbau for free parking and grab to town. But I have seen a car in the middle of a huge open and not crowded car park at Aeon Dato Onn got wheel clamped. Likely a case of parking free several nights

QUOTE(cuddlybubblyteddy @ May 21 2025, 01:43 PM) Few area can park: UTC JB High Court JB You mean car parks under MBJB? There are many around town but almost impossible to get any lot in the day time and some places too secluded. On top oof that, many cars are parking illegally all over town, in side lanes, in back lanes and in deserted places and in front of landed properties and condos. The laws here are very lax. Cars can be abandoned in legal parking lots with multiple summons and yet not towed away for months. Even my condo got cars with thick layer of dust occupying the lots for months like abandoned cars
