Polis tahan pemandu Toyota Alphard memandu secara berbahaya

GOMBAK - Polis menahan seorang pemandu Toyota Alphard yang dipercayai memandu secara berbahaya seperti dipaparkan dalam sebuah video yang tular di media sosial, pada Ahad.

Ketua Polis Daerah Gombak Asisten Komissioner Zainal Mohamed Mohamed berkata, suspek merupakan seorang lelaki warga tempatan berusia 43 tahun.

"Suspek ditahan di pekarangan Bahagian Siasatan dan Perundangan Trafik IPD Gombak kira-kira jam 2 petang dan dibawa menjalani ujian air kencing di Bahagian Narkotik IPD Gombak. Namun hasil ujian tersebut adalah negatif," katanya dalam kenyataan, pada Ahad.
Kata Zainal Mohamed, suspek turut dibawa ke Hospital Selayang untuk pengambilan sampel darah bagi ujian alkohol.

"Kemudian suspek akan dibawa ke Mahkamah Majistret Selayang pada Isnin untuk perintah reman.

"Kes disiasat di bawah seksyen 42 (1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987," katanya.
Pada Sabtu, seorang pemandu Toyota Alphard dikehendaki polis setelah aksinya memandu secara berbahaya tular di media sosial.

Jabatan Siasatan Dan Penguatkuasaan Trafik (JSPT) Bukit Aman menerusi kenyataan sebelum ini memaklumkan video berkenaan memaparkan sebuah kenderaan jenis Toyota Alphard warna putih dipandu secara berbahaya dengan memotong di lorong kecemasan serta melakukan provokasi kepada pengguna jalan raya lain.
