Assurance Maxguard is like normal/budget model line for goodyear, similar to Michelin XM2, would prefer to upgrade to efficient grip which is similar to Primacy series from Michelin.

Assurance Maxguard or Assurance Maxguard SUV?

2 different tires.

Assurance Maxguard is an improvement from Assurance Triplemax 2.

Assurance Maxguard SUV is an improvement from Wrangler Triplemax.

Assurance Maxguard is just meh. Assurance Maxguard SUV is another story.

I'm using it right now on 235/50R18. Super good. Much much much better than Hankook Ventus Prime 3.

Almost as good as Michelin Primacy 4.

They are available in 225/50R18

Efficient grip overall beat Primacy tire range, thus why i always recommend people to get this tire range from Goodyear.
Assurange Maxguard my go to tire shop dont recommend unless owner request cheaper tire range and must be from Goodyear.
SUV range if not mistaken they stiffen the sidewalls and also some improvement over the normal range, but overall efficient grip still better as it is one level higher.
