I feel your pain. Mine also same. If you want to save the heart ache, you can ask the contractor to replace the deeply dented or scratched tiles 1 by 1. Even if they refuse, I think around rm50 per piece is the normal labour. Of course it makes no sense for 200 pcs x RM50. So choose only the worst 5 to 10. If you want fully replace then rm500 labour per day per 100sqft is doable.
Do not attempt to diy polish scratches you can feel with your finger. It is not going to work, and be a headache when you polish the whole thing to matt instead of gloss. I wasted easily rm300 in tools and material and many days of body ache to do this unsuccessfully, only to end up call the tile guy to fully replace. You can try polishing compounds that are light or medium on tiles, they won’t do much damage but also won’t remove deep scratch.

Hi, thank you for ur sharing.... er not gonna diy but saw some ads on polishing tiles, so thinking of asking here to c if any lyner engage those service b4 and wat r the result..... n..... if replacing the damaged 1, will hav odd diff colour tiles on the floor as most tiles diff batches diff colour.... so it is either to polish all or replacing all(which i dun wish to replace if possible)....or ignore.......

hi .. we do floor tiles polishing with great success. but .. you have to check for hollow issue 1st. use a 20cents coin to knock on the tiles .. if its hollow .. i dont recommend doing as the floor tiles might crack or even worse collapse. and YES .. if you run your fingers on the scratches and you can feel it.. more often than not it cant be removed but we have other ways to restore it .. using epoxy. you'll still see the scratch lines but it will be smooth to touch.
we even rent and sell equipment and materials for those who wants to DIY.
fb.com/brightquantico for pics and videos
i rarely check in .. for faster response wa.me/60122322666
