This is also the first time i'm getting a new car . For those here with experience with new cars and especially for proton saga, i need to know what should i check the car before signing off and accepting the car?? Is there any part of the car or any test i need to do to ensure i dont return to the dealer the next day to dispute   ..

POOR SERVICE FROM EON SERVICE CENTER PENANG, 1 A Jalan Makloom.

I already very unsatisfied with the service provided at the mentioned SC from last time. Always giving me bad impression on them.

Now I just received my new Iswara on Monday and there are several problems on the car and the salesman from EON said that can be fixed at the SC.
Problems are as follow:-
(i)Missing signal light bulb at left side.
(ii)Rear passenger door right side not level when close. Not even at all.
(iii)Dashboard meter visor is giving a very serious rattling sound.
(iv)All doors are very hard to close fully with normal style of closing. Must close very hard only can.

I have made appointment at 8am. I come in time and mentioned the above problems to the SA and he recorded down all the problems. Then I asked how long I need to wait and he replied need to wait till around 12pm or more. Okay never mind I just waited and after 3 hours they haven't do anything as they keep servicing other cars and other important customer's car. Then at last, they start to work on my car. I saw they try to fix the missing bulb, but then after the take out the signal light holder they just leaved it like that. Then my car is get to the car body workshop to check the doors. One of them told me the uneven door can't be adjusted and the latch needs to be replaced. He told me they will order the part then inform me when it arrives. All the other doors that person just try to open and close then do nothing. Then my car is drive back to the parking lot.

I still waiting and monitoring them to fix all the remaining problems. After 1 hour, I ask the SA if my car is ready and he said okay already. I told him they haven't checked my meter visor and fix all the problems and haven't received the "parts ordering form" yet. But the SA just insisted the car is fixed and ask me to sign and collect my car key.
After that, I go to check my car and I noticed that the missing bulb still not install and the holder is still hanging around like that and all other problems is still persist. I drive back to the workshop and asked the SA come to see the condition and he just simply ask someone to install a bulb back and now only they want to write the "parts ordering form" for me.

Not even a "sorry" I hear from them after this incident. Waited for 4 HOURS for a bulb!

Today just received my new Iswara!!!
Proton is so kind to give me some free gift, "rattling sounds at dashboard", "rear door not level" , "missing left signal light bulb at mudguard"!

  .. finally found @ the previous pages.. started flipping from pg 40.. found it di..
  wah!!! so serious wan ar??? signal bulb also dun have.. after so many hours only get missing bulb fix which i think just takes mins elsewhere.. but foc ma...

this sat i really need to bring down big big magnifying glasses wo...

First, check all the light function or not. (got bulb inside or not)
2nd, lift up all the carpet see got wet or not
3rd, open rear bonet spare tire compartment see got aquarium or not. (If got, don't sign! Cause got pirahna inside. Very dangerous geh)
4th, see all door can close properly or not
5th, wiper working or not
6th, all meter working or not
7th, stand far abit and look at ur car 360 degree see got dent or not.
8th, sign and drive back happily and come back this thread report. =P

if i get my fren 14" rim from toyota VIOS can fit in or not. how much should i pay 4 it.or should i go for 15" when i hv $$.
coz i will be on the highway muchn would like to hv stabilize the car more. any good advice??
