About 2 years ago I painted my house new and made some renovations to the house. I quarreled with the contractor due to some disagreements...as a result I think the contractor told his workers to pour cement in my dry kitchen's floortrap... Now water can only slowly sip thru the floortrap. Could someone advice me on what to do pls? Can I buy some type of acid or if that doesn't work..can I do a bypass n how? Or is the only solution is to break the floor and make a new piping?

Pls help me

Acid won't work if there is cement , anyway, acid has a very violent reaction, and the fumes may rust the metallic things in your house.
Maybe you can try to ask a plumber to come and try to clear it first. If that does not work. Then yes. Youe only solution is to lay another pipe.

Use Karcher or any brand spray jet with flexible hose type for clearing sewage line.

Thanks for the advice... Is there such thing as cement solvent... Won't it dissolve the PVC piping too?

It is basically just hydrochloride acid. Most contractor used it. I think there are different dilution to it. Some are for cleaning tiles from excess cement when they do grouting to make the tile shines again but yes, it will make stainless steel become dark and dull. Still can polish it shine though.

Use in well ventilated place. Can easily found in hardware shop. Safe on PVC.

Anyway, it will just soften it and need to use something to brush the cement off the PVC pipe. Unless you have access to a point where you can remove the cement block, I'm not sure how you will clear the pipe.

Actually not like this... Just type cement solvent in shopee and the list comes out...ex: Lankangbao cement solvent.... Looks promising.... All u need to add is warm water to push the liquified cement from the floortrap into the mainhole...for completely cement clogged floortrap also applicable....

I looked carefully at the instructions or the cement solvent products, ....one of it says" use carefully in rotted pipes".

I don't know whether my pipe is rotted or not, but the house was built in year 2005...

What do u mean anyway by do a new piping? Make a new piping from the floortrap to the corresponding manhole? How? Don't u have to have access to the vertical pipe from the floortrap? If not without hacking how? Is it expensive? Are we talking about below rm200, rm500 or rm1k job?
