Well this forum said "video", can anyone tell me what studio or program or anything that people used to create special effect ? like creating a sharingan eye in the movie, flames coming out of your hand, explosion, electricity ? Light saber from star wars, all the CG or special effect thing ! I have no clue in these stuffs.. I wanted to learn how to do this stuff... anyone ?

QUOTE(aceejay @ Sep 26 2007, 05:20 AM) adobe premium should solve ur probs Adobe premier can't do that much effects. If you want to go deep down into effects and all, you need to search out 3D stuff or Adobe After Effects.

oooo, adobe after effect ? Damn I only have photoshop.. and I see, so star wars is not a effect and it's a prop.. thanks for the info !! Still, I still need special effects XD !!! Here, is an example, maybe one of you all did not watch it before or already did, this was made from one of my friend's cousin. Anyone can tell me how they did it ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9nQaeCaoUU It's very nice btw.

Hi Kyz89...
for your info...light saber is just merely a prop only towards the grip area...the glowing part is all done in post-production process(special effects)with rotoscoping technique which literally means that every swing n rotation is being adjusted and tracked frame by frame depending on the length of the video.
As for the video link that u've referred to...it is achievable in after effects(AE). Btw....if you're looking for basic and some intermediate tutorials you can head on over to creativecow.net.
If you are already with familiar photoshop structure....AE shouldn't be that hard to operate since it shares some similarity. Its like photoshop with an additional timeline. And again photoshop and illustrator elements can be imported into AE easily.
