Synopsis

For the agent known as "Twilight," no order is too tall if it is for the sake of peace. Operating as Westalis' master spy, Twilight works tirelessly to prevent extremists from sparking a war with neighboring country Ostania. For his latest mission, he must investigate Ostanian politician Donovan Desmond by infiltrating his son's school: the prestigious Eden Academy. Thus, the agent faces the most difficult task of his career: get married, have a child, and play family.

Twilight, or "Loid Forger," quickly adopts the unassuming orphan Anya to play the role of a six-year-old daughter and prospective Eden Academy student. For a wife, he comes across Yor Briar, an absent-minded office worker who needs a pretend partner of her own to impress her friends. However, Loid is not the only one with a hidden nature. Yor moonlights as the lethal assassin "Thorn Princess." For her, marrying Loid creates the perfect cover. Meanwhile, Anya is not the ordinary girl she appears to be; she is an esper, the product of secret experiments that allow her to read minds. Although she uncovers their true identities, Anya is thrilled that her new parents are cool secret agents! She would never tell them, of course. That would ruin the fun.

Under the guise of "The Forgers," the spy, the assassin, and the esper must act as a family while carrying out their own agendas. Although these liars and misfits are only playing parts, they soon find that family is about far more than blood relations.






seriously no one is watching? this is the best anime after ousama ranking. 1st Episode maybe meh... but 2nd and 3rd ep I really enjoyed it, especially you are a father and you know what the protagonist is going thru when he establish a family

The anime seems fast paced

not a manga person... but so far the story seems well convey imo.

its a great story.
but in anime, like a short version.
the scene move too fast, now moving to school interview already.

anime is nice but the manga is better in term of pacing and graphics (seriously the drawing quality) anime is nice to have for the voice acting. btw it is a two cour anime with spilt cour in between second part only comes in fall.
edit: TBH i think this show is quite popular even though muse asia only screens them for 4 hours. Paripi Koumei is the hidden gem.

coz people don't want spoiler from manga or LN, nothing to say much lo... even it's aired, still can't talk about it coz will spoil those who haven't watch yet... so even nothing to say

story is pretty straight forward, unlike Re: Zero there are much lore/ mystery/ cliffhanger unexplained if don't watch the next episode.

eventually we will know they will pass the interview, somehow. just looking forward to humorous mistake stuffs from Anya and Yor.

not quite face pace, seems like each episode covers one chapter...

is it really 1 episode cover one chapter?
cause if im not mistaken, Anya bad at study and suddenly the episode proceed to interview.

This anime is trending on social media. Kinda annoying tbh I prefer people don't overhype this series.

but this season, spy X family, tate no yuusha and kishi-sama catch my eyes... koumei i still watch as he is my favorite character in 3 kingdom despite they change the story. i think i remember i read komi-san release on this season, or i remember it wrongly?

Paripi Koumei people start notice because of OP starting episode 02. P.A.Works anime usually underrated like recently Shiroi Suna no Aquatope.

The thing is I don't hate the anime but people keep posting on Facebook and YouTube(YouTube community page is even worse, are they gonna start sharing every single bit of fanarts from pixiv & twitter?)

Deaimon and aharen san i watch ep 1 only ok la watching for leisure.

i wont deny Shiroi Suna is kinda underrated too. not sure i watch for the story or fuka nice OP and ED too.

Tbh i only watched novaworks fansub thoroughly but the group stalled it is until ep 4 season 1 only.

maybe u can try NekoYu’ - Team Arcedo, the latest ep they seems to translate all signs except for op ed lyrics

Episode 5 was amazing, especially at the end where anya thank loid

castle play i find it abit rushing, especially the last fight somemore spy flip stunt like shinobi but then all ends well with a price

episode 12 seems kinda de-rail from it's storyline, no explain that would end of continue on next fall... but never the less

It had been announced as split cour from beginning. Ep 12 was outsourced to Madhouse. Hopeful they have more time and resource for second cour. Can't wait for the Bond arc.
