Penang here even if you look oren walk into Chinese shop eat no one will bother you one. 2 weeks ago got one Malay looking uy drinking beer in afternoon speak fluent Malay. No one also questions him or even loook at him.

No kena kena like you say. Chinese support here very strong one. For chinese and only locals when it comes to jobs offers, house rentals, opportunities, schools. Similarly the growing trend also follows Singapore now.
