Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place but does anyone have any contacts around Petaling Jaya that does repair for ceiling boards? Apparently the ones in my house decide to fall apart exposing the wooden structure inside as well as part of the roof tiles

Repair can be done via 2 methods. A simple one can be performed from the roof top by removing the roof tiles. Or opt for a proper repair work via scaffolding erected from ground floor or using a number of 2" x 2" woods to be extended from your balcony as platform, allowing worker to perform repair work. Try to find more things for the handyman to work on as this tedious job alone will make it challenging for you to secure a handyman.

May i suggest that you have him look into the following as well while he is up there...

- Check on roof leak
- flash repair work
- broken or chipped off tiles or ridges
- replaced badly rusted zink at valley
- clean or replaced roof gutter
- reapply roof silicone
- roof painting
