QUOTE(MrBaba @ Apr 20 2022, 02:40 PM) Wait Acer same spec cheaper no ? Acer Spec slightly lower, offer i5 or Ryzen 5800 , 8GB Ram if Same Spec Intel® Core™ i7-11800H processor Octa-core 2.30 GHz NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3060 with 6 GB dedicated memory 39.6 cm (15.6") Full HD (1920 x 1080) 16:9 144 Hz 16 GB, DDR4 SDRAM 512 GB SSD RM 5999 cuz now Colorful for doing special offer @ RM4299 is kinda tempting

i think the issue with these cheap laptop from china recently that come out is that no one will know about the quality and the reliability of them until a few years later when more people have been using them longer.
one of the main reasons is that how they make it cheaper than their competitors that majority of their component are probably from unknown chinese brands. Since China can now manufacture their own ram, ssd, and display, as well as other components, using their own local parts and technology. They don't need to buy a display from Samsung or LG for example and don't need to buy ram or SSD from SK Hynix, Samsung or Micron. That's where they all cut costs. But we do not know the reliability and quality of these parts since these are new to the market. I would assume besides the Intel CPU and Wifi and Motherboard Chipset, everything else is entirely Chinese. Its not necessarily bad thing, its just we don't know how good they are either.

Sounds like original = 5999+("Lab Rats" discount) = 4299 hahahaha

It's probably a Clevo or TongFang laptop rebranded
try looking at those and see if you can find a similar laptop
quality wise these chinese rebrands are actually alright
but support from the brand that rebrands them varies

Price wise, it's really tempting but if it's me I'll still stick with acer cause I have trust issues haha. Also, it's easier to deal with warranty/repair with acer here if it's ever needed. Cheers!
