Hi guys,
This is the first MAC I'm using, so I'm not sure if this is a normal thing. When my MAC is plugged in, I can feel static all over the palm rest of the MAC, if I unplug, then there's none. Someone told me that all MACs in Malaysia is like this due to the 3 pin plug, but is this really the case? I brought it to a MAC store, they used the USBC cable and it didn't have this static. Should I bring an electrician? This only happens on my MAC. Appreciate any help!

If yes, it happened to me too IF only i used 2 pin plug. Using 3 pin plug would solve the static issue. Even my Mac Mini was acting the same behavior if not connected to the monitor.

Detail on lower section of the first post here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1215928&Still apply today. Apple really should look into their 3-pin plug design.

Getting Started

|
This problem has been around since my 2015 MBP.
It's amazing how Apple, a trillion-dollar company, can ignore something like this.
