Just want to confirm if Oppo warranty is international or not. China set warranty can be claimed in Malaysia Oppo service centres?

Ya. Looks like will give it a pass on the import sets. Too risky anyway. Just nearly took the dive because the price is significantly cheaper than the official local sets. 😆😅

I 'upgraded' from the Samsung Z Fold 6. Haha. So far loving it!!! Samsung has been playing it too safe with no innovations lately.

Screen Crack warranty covers only for 1st year, right? I took this only (and not the Extended +1 Year Warranty) as I have a bad habit of upgrading pretty often.

Yeah. But still worth it for the 2nd year warranty if plan to keep the phone long since it's only RM199. So much cheaper compared to Samsung's Fold warranty extension. 😌

Thanks for the heads up on the magnetic case. I've not unboxed it yet after reading your comment on the difficulty in removing it and also the bulkiness. Very scary oh. Just have to live without the MagSafe-thingy for now.

No wor, don't think will get any good offer for trade in at Oppo, so probably will sell separately after fully migrated out. Not expecting much value. Haha.

Still getting used to the camera. Quite impressed with Oppo and how far it has come.
So far loving the watermark, the Hasselblad colour tones and the camera hardware ability to focus near using the main sensor (which iPhone 16 Pro Max can't do as it switches to the poorer Macro mode automatically).

Yeah. Actually main reason for me is for better battery life. The Fold 6 battery drained like water when I use it heavily.

So far haven't used the SuperVOOC charger yet. Haha. Just using 20w PD charger and it takes quite a while to charge as the 5,600mAh size is pretty large. So far, can last me a full day of pretty heavy work usage. ScreenOnTime is WAY better than my Fold 6, but not as good as my iPhone, but that's cause I almost always use the unfolded larger display on the N5.

Never used N3 before. But I like the ratio of the N5. Feels good and familiar especially since I'm coming from a Fold 6. I prefer this ratio as I use the phone more for work apps rather than content/media consumption.

Good price if you ask me, but I would suggest to ask if screen protection warranty can be added or not.

Honestly, N3 was so tempting to get for me too at the time when it first launched. But the price was quite prohibitive. In the end, went for N5 because cannot stand anymore from not trying an Oppo foldable.

The multitasking via Oppo Boundless View (same with OnePlus Open Canvas), is really awesome to use. 😇

Also, battery optimisation in Oppo is far superior. Just look at battery comparison reviews, where mostly the Magic V5 loses badly in battery performance despite having a higher capacity battery. 😌

Based on their testing, it seems that even by removing the front display screen protector on the Honor Magic V5, it still fails to be thinner than the Fold 7.

Seems like Honor is not the thinnest foldable in the market despite their marketing claims. 😌

Yeah. Samsung didn't claim the Fold 7 is thinnest in the world, so perhaps some influencers just bashed based on the companies marketing material data. 🫠

I still love my N5 because it opens fully flat automatically. In the Fold 7, doesn't always open flat as the hinge design allows for a lot of custom angles.
