I just bought Canon printer....

Do I need to register for warranty?
I fail to find any way to do it..

Online ? Or keep the invoice.

Any online registration claim must be supported with invoice.

I bought my canon printer from a physical shop. Been buying from them for many years. They give a 1 week period one-on-one exchange, and 1 yr warranty. Told me two things:

1) keep the receipt and just bring the printer back if I needed to make a warranty claim.

2) the installation of any continuous ink system (which they also offered) would void the warranty.

All the same I did register the printer online with Canon, in case the printer was brought to another state and needed repairs there.

Last time come with 1 year after you register warranty online they will extend another 2 year

1 year standard warranty, +2 years if online registered.

If u buy catridge printer then I think yes.

When I bought my printer (e4270) last year, AllIT said catridge printer would get onsite repair which mean technician will come to your location whereas ink tank printer need to go to their service center.

Registered already. No give extra warranty....
