Since S9600/9100 give the 28mm Wide but without IS function...worth to consider it?

Fz50 is expensive for its class. Could get DSLR already. Fz18 is more like it. It has 18x zoom.
Go for 9600. IMHO IS is not a must have in this digital age. Just shoot in burst and pick out the sharpest. You don't loose a thing. |

panasonic is great except noisy sensor, its' OIS is great, can take long zoom sharp pic easily.
fuji sensor is number 1, but no IS. |

s9600 if not mistaken is between rm1700-1800. I usually goes to fotokem. A bit pricey but convenience for me as they have many branches.
