Sudah terlalu lama Mat Rempit mengancam keselamatan pengguna jalan raya yang lain, dan mengambil bahagian dalam aktiviti haram dan jenayah, seperti gangguan awam, menunggang melulu, gangsterisme, rompakan, pergaduhan jalanan, vandalisme, pencurian dan buli.

Undang-undang menunjukkan Parlimen jelas berniat untuk menjadikan jalan raya lebih selamat dengan memberi pengajaran kepada pemandu yang melulu. Adakah niat ini benar atau hanya untuk menenangkan orang ramai dengan mempunyai undang-undang di atas kertas?

Please also compulsory community service and road safety course and exam for kids involved in basikal lajak.

Signed all petition so far. At the very least let there be numbers of how many ppl are frustrated with selective enforcement of laws in this BolehLand. Instead of saying many ppl condemn this or that, let there be solid numbers to back the saying.

Charging parents with dead children is unpopular move, whatever it takes to maintain support from pipit..... like relentless appeal against court judgement to put amoi driver behind bars to satisfy certain delusional ppl's wishes of "justice".

You may be able to get your kids off the street, but can you get yourself off the roads, or your children off the road when they need to start working?

We need to push the govt to stop selective enforcement, so that irresponsible parents will finally play their part to stop their children from endangering other legit road users.

Ur right, longterm hope this can be the case. Short term, need to find creative way to get all the basikal lajak/mat rempit kids off the roads. But it's hard, I get it. It's like trying to tell a smoker not to smoke in restaurants

Road safety course wont help wan. U see those GDL license applicants have to sit in driving school for 7 hours to listen to those theory. Still so many moron lorry drivers around.

I say 100 strokes of rotan should be made mandatory. Possibly do it publicly and allow ppl who have anger management issues to whack these rempits to relieve stress.

U go to those kampong secondary school, at 1 pm so many students driving motor without helmet, does the headmaster care? Does the police care? Not to mention some just out from school already drive like rempit... I believe many are underage and without licence.
